Established in 1890 to form a living collection of native trees,
shrubs and plants of the State of California, the UC Berkeley
Botanical Garden is a non-profit research garden and museum.
This notably diverse collection includes many rare and endangered
plants. Included will be a visit to famed architect Julia Morgan’s
Senior Women’s Hall built on the campus in 1911 and moved to
the garden in 2014. Now standing near the front of the garden
near the top of Strawberry Canyon, it is listed on both California
and national historic registries.
Wear comfortable shoes for your garden walk.
Lunch is at Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto. See reverse for menu.
Depart Target parking at 8:3o a.m. and return approximately 5:00 p.m.
