D1: Take off from Europe
From the closest airport of your home city with British Airways to London (flight taking off at 5.35 pm). Noght
onboard.
D2: Arrival at Cape Town (South Africa) - 43 kms
Arrival at Cape Town at 7.00 am. We pick up your rental vehicle 2 power wheels Hyundai ix35 or similar. We
are then heading to Table Moutain, ascent in cable car up to 1.086 meters hig. Panoramic view, if the weather
allows us, discovery of the Waterfront. Dinner at the harbor and night in a 5 stars hotel close to the Atlantic
Ocean.
D3: Cape Town -> Cape of Good Hope -> Franschhoek - 196 kms
Discovery of Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, magnificent view over the peninsula. Meeting with a penguin
colony at Simon's Town. Then we are heading toward the "Wine Road" up to Franschhoek (the French spot) to
visit a cellar and taste these surprising wines. Night in a 4 stars hotel.
D4: Franschhoek -> Springbok - 566 kms
Liaison day. Night in a 4 stars lodge immersed in a beautiful natural area.
D5: Springbok -> Ai Ais -> Fish River Canyon - 346 kms
We are leaving South Africa for Namibia. We follow the Orange River until Ai-Ais and discover the thermal
city of Namibia. Then we continue to the Fish River Canyon, impressive view over the 55 meters deep and 160
kilometers long canyon. This is the largest canyon of Africa. Night in a 3 stars lodge in an African Far West
ambiance: vintage cars and motorcycles decorate this unique place in the heart of the desert.
D6: Fish River Canyon -> Sesriem - 507 kms
Liaison day with 413 kms of good condition gravel roads. Meeting with the first wild animals (springbok,
zebras, ostrick, Oryx...). The landscapes are absolutely breathtaking. Night in a 4 stars lodge.
D7: Sesriem -> Sossusvlei - 128 kms
Visit of the Namib Park, with its red sand dunes of more than 300 meters high. We are in the world's oldest
desert. You can choose optional flights in plane or hot-air balloon. Night in the same 4 stars lodge.
D8: Sesriem -> Swakopmund - 299 kms
Liaison day with 299 kms of good condition gravel road. Discovery of the Namibian seaside resort. Dinner on a
pier in order to enjoy even more the Ocean charm. Night in stilt's houses next to the ocean.
D9: Swakopmund -> Sandwich Bay -> Swakopmund - 77 kms
We spend the day driving a four motor wheels with an experienced driver in the gigantic dunes of the Namib. A
picnic in a full natural area is going to leave you with unforgettable thoughts. Dinner on the waterfront. Night in
the same lodge.
D10: Swakopmund -> Skeleton Coast -> Twyfelfontein - 474 kms
Observation of a sea lion colony at Cape Cross. Discovery of the vegetal Welwitshia which can live 2000 years,
this is the curiosity of the Namibian flora. We go through the Damaraland region. Night in a 4 stars lodge.
D11: Twyfelfontein -> Kamanjab - 270 kms
Visit of a place with rupestrian engravings more than 6000 years old. Meeting with the Himba tribe, whose
women are coloring their skin with a red mixture. We spend the afetrnoon with them. Night in a 3 stars lodge.
D12: Kamanjab -> Etosha - 324 kms
Discovery of the Namibia's biggest park: Etosha. Meeting with the whole Africain fauna (antelope, lion,
elephant...). Night in the park in a 3 stars lodge.
D13: Etosha -> Rundu - 517 kms
Second safari day in the Etosha Park and we hit the road toward Rundu. Night in a typical lodge on the
Okavango river banks.
D14: Rundu -> Mahango - 205 kms
Meeting with students in a bush school. Discovery of the Okavango on a boat until Popa Falls in order to meet
hippopotamus and crocodiles. Night in a 5 stars lodge & spa.
D15: Mahango -> Kasane - 446 kms
We are going through the Caprivi Strip to join Botswana. Visit of the Chobe National Park before finishing our
day on the Chobe banks for a new safari cruise at the sunset. Night in a 4 stars lodge.
D16: Kasane -> Victoria Falls - 87 kms
Departure for Zimbabwe. Arrival at Victoria Falls to discover the famous Zambezi waterfalls. Night at the 5
stars Victoria Falls Hotel, centenary museum of the Queen Victoria.
D17: Victoria Falls
Spare day to enjoy the location. Optional activity: aerial view of the waterfalls from helicopter. Aperitif cruise
on the Zambezi at the sunet with hippopotamus and crocodiles. Night in the same hotel.
D18: Victoria Falls
Take off for Johannesburg. Departure at 1.50 pm. Second flight for London. Night onboard.
D19: London
Arrival in London at 6.35 pm, via connection flight to your home airport.
