Celebrate Autism Walk / Pizza Party!

Autism is a lifelong neurological disorder that has no known cure or proven treatment method. Today
the CDC estimates that 1 in 88 children are born with autism… those odds continue to rise at an alarming
rate and have certainly had an effect on West Michigan!
Because autism can cause problems with social interaction and, at times, tantrum-like behaviors, many
families feel the need to withdraw from normal activities to avoid the stares and comments of strangers.
But we want to take a stand AGAINST that! Join us in this exciting opportunity to stand up and support
our local autism community.
In recognition of Autism Awareness month, on Saturday April 20, 2013 we will celebrate AUTISM as we
walk down Main St in Coopersville! Our goal is to have each family organize a team of their support
system. Each team will walk the ½ mile route and end at a local pizza parlor for a celebration.
There are many ways to get involved!
Gold Level - $500

Your business can organize a team of walkers (up to 8) to participate in the walk on April 20
Your business logo will be shown on the back of every Tshirt. (every registered walker will
receive a Tshirt with their team name on the front and sponsors recognized on the back)
