What is zMAX Micro-lubricant?
IT BEGINS WITH A MOLECULE...
Unlike ordinary molecules, the smaller zMAX Micro-lubricant molecules are
specially formulated to soak into metal and contain no harsh chemicals.
Originally created to help reduce heat issues in racing engines, zMAX
Micro-lubricant became such a success, it was added to the automotive
consumers’ market. Not only did zMAX reduce heat and friction, but it
dispersed harmful carbon build-up.
Carbon deposits increase friction, wear and tear on internal parts of
the engine, fuel system and transmission. By helping to dissipate these
deposits, zMAX Micro-lubricant:
• Improves Performance
• Reduces Wear on Vital Engine Parts
• Increases Horsepower
• Cleans Fuel Injectors and Carburetors
• Increases Fuel Mileage
• Reduces Emissions
Soaks into metal
HOW zMAX MICRO-LUBRICANT WORKS
zMAX Micro-lubricant uses the fluids
in your vehicle as a carrier to reach the
internal parts of your engine, fuel system
and transmission. Therefore, zMAX does
not act as an additive nor does it change
the viscosity of your oil. Once zMAX Microlubricant soaks into these metal parts, they
are cleaned and continuously protected from
carbon and other harmful deposits.
In The Engine, zMAX Micro-lubricant:
• Cleans and conditions cylinder walls,
pistons, piston rings, bearings and valves
• Provides continuous lubrication of your
engine’s internal parts
• Protection for both new and used engines helps with engine break in
• Reduces wear on vital parts, extends engine life and restores power

What is zMAX Micro-lubricant?
In The Fuel System, zMAX Micro-lubricant:
• Cleans your fuel system and conditions the combustion chambers of
your engine
• Helps reverse the effects of Ethanol Gas: Ethanol Gas brings added
water particles into your fuel system. This added moisture can cause
rust and build-up which results in engine wear, corrosion of engine parts,
lower fuel mileage, clogged carburetors and filters.
• Removes carbon and other deposits from the intake / exhaust valves,
valve guides, cylinder walls and piston rings
• Increases fuel mileage, improves performance, increases horsepower
and reduces emissions. For use in gasoline and diesel engines.
For Transmission, zMAX Micro-lubricant:
• Cleans and lubricates the parts of your transmission
• Increases lubrication to help prevent premature wear of internal
transmission components
• Provides smoother shifting, reduces wear and extends life for your
transmission
Some vehicles have “Sealed Transmissions” (no place to fill or check the fluid level). To add zMAX
Transmission Formula, please check with your dealer or service provider. Verify with your Owner’s
Manual if this applies to your vehicle.

TESTING
Industry tests conducted on zMAX Micro-lubricant are based on accepted
protocols as directed by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and
the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
zMAX Micro-lubricant soaks into metal; reduces friction; increases
horsepower; dissipates engine heat; helps improve or restore gas mileage
and reduce emissions in older cars, by virtue of reducing engine deposits;
helps maintain gas mileage and emissions in newer cars, by virtue of
reducing engine deposits; helps reduce engine wear on vital engine parts,
by virtue of reducing engine deposits; and helps to extend engine life, by
virtue of reducing engine deposits.
zMAX requires a “soak in” period in order to achieve maximum benefit,
therefore, when necessary, the protocols have been modified only
to include a “soak in” period for zMAX. Oil-Chem has performed the
following tests:
SAE J1321 - designed to measure fuel economy changes of in-service vehicles.
Auger Electron Spectroscopy - designed to measure the penetration of a material into a
metal subsurface.
Modified CRC L-38 - capable of measuring bearing, cylinder, piston and valve guide wear;
horsepower; piston deposits; and oil deterioration.
ASTM D4172 (Four Ball Method - Prevention of Wear) - designed to measure anti-wear
properties of a lubricant.
ASTM D5182 (Four Ball Method - Coefficient of Friction) - designed to measure the
coefficient of friction of a lubricant.
ASTM G99 (Pin on Disc Method) - designed to measure the coefficient of friction of a
lubricant.
ASTM D2174 (Block on Ring Test) - designed to measure the coefficient of friction of a
lubricant.
ASTM D1748 - designed to measure rust preventive properties of metal preservation.
Modified Sequence VIII - capable of measuring bearing, cylinder, piston and valve guide
wear; horsepower; piston deposits; oil deterioration, and fuel efficiency.
TEOST MHT-4 Thermo-oxidation Engine Oil Simulation Test - designed to measure and
emulate deposits that would occur in the piston and ring area of a modern engine.
FTP 75 - designed to measure the emissions of a vehicle under normal city and suburban
driving conditions.
BAR 90 - designed to measure the in-use emissions level of vehicles for controlling air
quality.
