These washers feature a micro-controlled, syringe-drive, positivedisplacement pump for fluid delivery and variable control of
aspiration rates. Intuitive, menu-driven software lets you easily
automate washing protocols, even those specialized for stringent
research applications.
■Self-contained
Programmable aspiration rates reduce carryover and ensure
low background absorbance and small residual volumes.
Preprogrammed maintenance protocols are available at the
touch of a button, and automatic buffer switching is optional
on all models. Safety features include aerosol cover, built-in
decontamination routine, and isolation of electronics from fluids.
What’s included: one set of 8- or 12-channel manifold; supply
tubing set; wash, rinse, and 2-L waste bottles; aerosol cover;
10 ft power cord and plug (specify ultimate destination at time
of order); vacuum filter; and maintenance kit. Order additional
manifold separately.

These microplate readers feature on-board data reduction and
reporting. They read 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, and 96-well plate microplates.
Model 13055-52 can read 384-well and 60-, 72-, and 96-well
Terasaki plates. Wavelength ranges from 400 to 750 nm.
Model 13055-54 optics extend wavelength range down to 340 nm.
■Extensive
Microplate readers feature a 2 x 24-character LCD and a convenient
soft keypad. Extensive curve fitting options include linear, cubic,
quadratic, 4-p, log-logit, cubicspline, and point-to-point. Memory
stores 25 standard curves and up to eight microplate test results.
Readers feature auto or manual plate layout for blanks, controls,
standards, and samples. They also offer control and assay
validation, transformation and formula applications, and cutoff
and call criteria.
On-board software is easy to program to run sophisticated
assays and analyze data without a computer. Features curvefitting, cutoff calculation, data transformation, and validation
capabilities.
What’s included: 340 (13055-54 only), 405, 450, 490, 630 nm filters,
dust cover, parallel printer cable (25-pin male and 36-pin male),
serial cable (null modem, 9-pin female to 25-pin female), and
