Annual Report 2013

Annual Report 2013
IT’S NOT A ONE PERSON JOB.
Thanks to your support, our neighbors with disabilities
are leading full lives in the community. Where do we see
the results of your generosity? Children with delays have
the opportunity to learn in an environment and at a pace
that’s comfortable for them; youth and teens who may be
shy or isolated gain self-confidence and form new friendships; skilled adults take pride in the work they get paid to
do at local businesses; and adults with disabilities get the
residential supports they need to live with the independence they desire. Thank you for playing such a vital role
in helping children and adults with disabilities navigate
the world confidently - we cannot wait to see how much
more good we can accomplish together in the years to
come.

pointed at me, and said ‘Mama,’
I started to cry for the word I always
wanted to hear from his mouth. If it were
not for all the time the Northeast Arc team
contributed to his therapy, he would not be
where he is now. Thank you for all the time

YOU CAN CHANGE LIVES WITH A FEW SIMPLE WORDS.
Leave a legacy by remembering Northeast Arc in your will. Talk to your tax
attorney or financial advisor about adding the following sentence:
“I bequeath $ ____________ (or ____% of my estate) to Northeast Arc,
64 Holten Street, Danvers, MA 01923 Tax ID# 04-2232416.”
Northeast Arc was created in the 1950s by parents of
children with disabilities who rejected the assumption
that their children should be institutionalized.
Now serving over 7,000 people annually in more than
150 Massachusetts cities and towns, Northeast Arc’s mission
is to help people with disabilities become full participants
in the community, choosing for themselves how to
live, learn, work, socialize and play.
