Figurative Language Project Assigned: 2/27 Due: 3/13 Below is a menu of Figurative Language projects. You must select ONE project to complete and share in class. Your project is worth 75 points – 10 points for each literary device and 5 points for participating in the gallery walk. Mini Posters Create 1 poster for each of the following literary devices: simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, idiom, alliteration, and onomatopoeia. Each poster should include a descriptive sentence demonstrating the literary device and an illustration showing the literary device. Slideshow Create 1 slideshow for each of the following literary devices: simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, idiom, alliteration, and onomatopoeia. Divide the poster into 8 sections. Label each of the sections with one type of figurative language: simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, idiom, alliteration, and onomatopoeia. In each section, write 1-2 sentences giving an example of the figurative language and illustrate the figurative language.
