Heads Up - the nuts and bolts and bolts for the week

Heads Up
- the nuts and bolts for the week No 9 : 10th April 2017
Dear Parents
After an eventful week last week, this Heads Up is reasonably light.
As a community, we have a few staff farewells:
Firstly, to a longstanding friend of Bellavista School, Mrs Penny Sinclair. Penny has
served this school for fifteen years and she has done so faithfully. Her influence
has been felt in the lives of many children, and past pupils are always sure to look
her up when they come by to visit us. She has served the teaching profession well
her whole working life. Penny relocates with her husband, Craig, to the United
Kingdom, where the family can be closer together. I wish her well and thank her
for her mark left in my life and the life of this school.
I also thank Craig Sinclair, Wihanli Lindeque and Dani Durbach for stepping in to
locum positions in the classroom or therapy departments this term. They have
done so seamlessly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption for the
children.

Name and Shame …..
The following cars/drivers continue to break the road rules outside the school, thereby endangering
the children, their own included, and the staff who try so carefully to direct the traffic and look out
for all pedestrians. Please note that an au pair left a child in a parked car.
