CSIR - National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) established in the year
1958 with its headquarters at Nagpur and at present having five Zonal Laboratories [Centers] at Delhi,
Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad, is one of the constituent institutes of the Council of Scientific
& Industrial Research (CSIR), a premier multi-disciplinary R & D organization in India which is an
autonomous body of the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research under the aegis of the Ministry
of Science & Technology, Government of India. The Institute is engaged in Research & Development in
the areas of Air Pollution Control Technology, Water and Wastewater Technology, Environmental
Biotechnology and Genomics, Municipal Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental System

Studies.

Upper Age Limit for all the above posts is : not exceeding 28 years as on 10.07.2015. Relaxation in age
limit for candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen/ Meritorious
Sportspersons and women [widows, divorced women who are not re-married and women judicially
separated from their husbands] will be as per Government of India rules.
Total emoluments for Assistants Grade III = Rs. 19,289 at Nagpur and Rs. 20,062 at Chennai, Kolkata & Mumbai.

RESERVATION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES [PWDs]:
(i)
*Out of the above said three posts (Post Code Nos. 01), ONE post is reserved for Persons
with Disabilities (PWDs) having Locomotor Disability [Orthopedically Handicapped (OH)
candidates]. The posts are identified for the categories of OA – One Arm, OL- One Leg, BL- Both
Legs, OAL – One Arm & One leg.
(ii)
** Out of four Posts [Post Code No. 03], ONE post is reserved for PWDs with disability of
Blindness or Low Vision [Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates]. Further out of Post Codes
No. 04, 05 and 06, one post each is for the Zonal Laboratories [Centres] of CSIR-NEERI at
Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai and the candidates selected against those posts will have to join
and work in those Zonal Laboratories.
TYPEWRITING/SHORTHAND TESTS/MEDIUM:
***35 words per minute/30 words per minute correspond t o 10500 KDPH/9000KDPH on an
average of 5 key depressions for each word. A text passage will be given to the candidates for
typewriting test and time allowed f o r typewriting will be 10 minutes.
****40 words per minute/35 words per minute correspond to 12000 KDPH/10500KDPH on an average
of 5 key depressions for each word. Time allowed is 10 minutes.

*****Dictation will be given for 10 minutes and the time allowed for transcription of dictated passage on
computer will be:- 50 minutes for English passage or 65 minutes for Hindi Passage. VH candidates will be
required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand or in 100 minutes for Hindi
Shorthand.
All the typewriting tests will be on computer only.
NOTE-I: OH candidate who claims to be permanently unfit to take the typewriting test because of a
physical disability, may, with the prior approval of the Director, CSIR-NEERI, be exempted from the
requirement of appearing and qualifying in such test, provided that such a candidate submits a Certificate
in the Prescribed Format to the Institute from the competent Medical Authority, i.e., the Civil Surgeon
declaring him/her to be permanently unfit for the Typewriting Test because of a physical disability. This
is applicable for the candidates applying for the posts of Assistant [General] Grade III reserved for PWDs
[OH Category] – Post Code No. 01.
NOTE-II: Further if OH candidate who submits a Medical Certificate from the Medical Board attached to
VRC for PH persons or from the Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for PH persons,
his/her claim for exemption from Typewriting Test would be accepted. However, if, she/he submits
Medical Certificate from Civil/Orthopaedic Surgeon, his/her case would be referred to a Medical Board in
a Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to VRC/Special Employment Exchange for PH persons,
for clearance.
OH Candidates seeking exemption from Typewriting test on medical grounds must substantiate their
claim by furnishing the relevant Medical Certificate at the time of Typewriting Test in the prescribed
Format as given at the end of this advertisement and also published on website of the institute viz.
http://www.neeri.res.in. Otherwise their claim for seeking exemption from Typewriting Test will not be
entertained by the Institute
The candidates have to opt for only one medium, either English or Hindi for all the three tests viz.
Competitive Written Examination, Typewriting Test and Shorthand Test – Separate medium cannot be
opted for each of the tests. They may also opt for Hindi during interview. If any candidate does not opt
for any medium for typewriting, shorthand, competitive written test, his option will be deemed to be for
English for all the tests. The selected candidates who opt for English medium, have to undergo training in
Hindi Language, Hindi Typewriting and Hindi Shorthand after joining the post, as the case may be.
Candidates who opt to take the Stenography Test in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography
and vice versa after their appointment. The medium has to be opted while applying for the post which
will be final will not be allowed to be changed later.
There is no exemption from skill test for any category of candidates except as at Note I and II.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: a) For Post Codes 01 and 02 - Assistants (General) and (Finance and Accounts) - Grade III have to do
all clerical and typewriting jobs and provide assistance in General Administration/Finance &
Accounts as Dealing Assistants and attend to other official jobs as assigned to them.
b) For Post Code No. 03 to 06 – Jr. Stenographers - Secretarial/Stenographic Work and other official
work/jobs as Dealing Assistants, as assigned to them.

MODE OF SELECTION:
For post codes - 01 & 02: By Competitive written examination in General Hindi/General English and
General Knowledge AND skill Test in Typewriting (qualifying in nature) on computer at the speed as
mentioned above*** AND interview. The candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the
written competitive examination and also qualify in the typewriting test shall be called for t h e
interview by a duly constituted Selection Committee, but the weightage for interview would not exceed
25% of the total prescribed marks.
The candidates meeting the Essential Qualifications, supported with requisite certificates, will be
called for written competitive examination of objective type - Multiple Choice Questions - which will be
held first, consisting of total 75 marks and the qualifying marks will be: 45 for UR candidates and 40 for
ST Candidates [in respect of post reserved for them]. For PWD candidates also, the qualifying marks may
be relaxed if not able to secure general standard marks, at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-NEERI. If
adequate candidates are not available, the minimum qualifying marks as indicated above, may further be
relaxed by the Director, CSIR-NEERI at his discretion consistent with efficiency in administration which will
be duly notified on the website of the institute. The written examination will be in two Parts – PART I General Hindi /General English for 45 marks and PART II - General Knowledge for 30 marks and both marks
will be added together to be out of total marks of 75 for deciding the eligibility.
SYLLABUS
General English/General Hindi - In addition to the testing of candidates’ general
understanding of the English/Hindi Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure,
synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, spotting the errors, correct spellings, idioms &
phrases, active/passive voice of verbs, etc., his/her writing capability in general, may also be
tested.
General Knowledge - Questions will be designed to test the ability/knowledge of the candidate’s
general awareness of the environment around him, current events and of such matters of
everyday observation and may also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring
countries, especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General
Policy including Indian Constitution, etc. The questions will be such that they do not require a
special study of any discipline as it will be of general knowledge nature.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Those qualified in this
written examination will, then, be called for skill test in typewriting which will be of qualifying in nature
[Up to 5% mistakes allowed in Typing for UR candidates and 7% for ST candidates [which is relaxable as
7% for UR candidates and 10% for ST if adequate candidates are not found]. In case still adequate
candidates are not found qualified and, therefore, further change in % of mistakes is considered
necessary, it will be done at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-NEERI consistent with efficiency in
administration and will be duly notified on the website of the institute. Those who qualify in written
examination and typewriting test will then be called for interview. However, out of the candidates so
qualified, candidates only in the ratio of seven times of the number of vacancies to be filled will be called
for interview based upon the marks obtained in the written examination - (21 candidates will be called
for the Post Code No. 01 and 7 candidates for the Post Code No. 2). The marks obtained in the written
examination will not be disclosed to the Selection [Interview] Committee and it will independently and
without being influenced by the marks obtained in the written examination adjudge the candidates on

the basis of Viva Voce test and award the marks. The marks of the Written Examination will be kept in
the sealed cover, to be opened after the marks are given to the candidates in the interview by the
Interview Board and merit list will be prepared accordingly. The Selection [Interview] Committee will fix
the percentage for final selection, like 70 marks out of 100 for unreserved category and minimum 65
marks out of 100 for S.T. candidates. This percentage may be decided keeping in view the number of
posts to be filled up vis-a-vis the number of candidates required to be kept in the Panel of selected
candidates. The Decision of the Selection Committee/The Director, CSIR will be final and binding in this
regard. The Appointment letters will be issued to the candidates as per the order of Merit in the Merit
List [Panel] limited to the number of posts to be filled up. The Panel will be valid for a period one year
extendable by another six months by the competent authority and if any candidate(s) leave(s) the job,
appointment order(s) will be issued to the next candidate(s) in the panel in order of merit during the
validity of the Panel.
Thus, the final selection will be based on the combined performance in Written Examination and
Interview i.e. marks obtained in the written competitive examination [out of 75 marks] and at the
interview [out of 25 marks] taken together [typewriting test being only of qualifying nature]. In case
of tie, weightage will be given to the performance in the typewriting test and the marks will be awarded
based upon the less number of mistakes committed for the purpose. Even then if there is a further tie,
weightage will be given to the educational qualifications [% of marks obtained in the 10+2/XII Examination
will be considered]. The decision of the Selection Committee/ Director of CSIR-NEERI will be final and
binding in case of method to be adopted in case of tie(s)
For Post Code - 03 to 06 - Jr. Stenographers:- For the candidates meeting the Essential
Qualifications, supported with requisite certificates, Dictation will be given for 10 minutes and the time
allowed for transcription of dictated passage on computer will be:- 50 minutes for English Passage or 65
minutes for Hindi Passage. VH candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for
English Shorthand or in 100 minutes for Hindi Shorthand. [Up to 8% mistakes are allowed in transcription
of stenography – if change in % of mistakes is considered necessary due to adequate candidates not found
qualified, it will be done at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-NEERI consistent with efficiency in
administration and will be duly notified on website of the institute].
Scheme of Examination for skill test in Stenography:
A paragraph in English or Hindi of 800 words will be dictated in 10 minutes to the candidates.
Marking Scheme:
Candidates who will achieve shorthand speed @ 80 w.p.m. with time for transcription on
computer as stipulated above + 8% mistakes (64 mistakes) allowed, will get 64 marks and will
qualify the test. Further the candidates who commit less than 64 mistakes will be given one
additional mark for each less number of mistakes. For example, a candidate who will commit 63
mistakes will get 65 marks and that who will commit 62 mistakes will get 66 marks, so on and so
forth. The candidate who will commit no error will get 128 marks. The final merit list will be based
on the marks obtained in the Shorthand Test.
The typewriting test [of qualifying nature] will also be on computer and the speed of typewriting
will be adjudged on the accuracy of typewriting of a given text passage on the Computer in 10
minutes. The Visually Handicapped [VH] candidates (with visual disability of 40% and above) will

be allowed 30 minutes to type. Passage Dictators will be provided to each of VH candidates by the
Institute for the Typewriting test.
There is no exemption from skill test for any category of candidates.
Selection will be done on the basis of competitive proficiency/skill test in Shorthand. The
typewriting test will be of a qualifying nature and the selection will be on merit on the basis of the marks
obtained in Shorthand [Stenography] Test. In case of tie, performance in typewriting will be considered
and the method of awarding marks therefor will be adopted as for shorthand test marking [In typewriting
test, Up to 5% mistakes allowed for UR candidates and 7% for OBC candidates which is relaxable as 7% for
UR candidates and 10% for OBCs if adequate candidates are not found at the discretion of the Director,
CSIR-NEERI]. If further change in % of these mistakes is considered necessary, it will be done at the
discretion of the Director, CSIR-NEERI consistent with efficiency in administration which will be duly
notified on website of the institute. Even then if tie is there, then weightage will be given to the academic
qualifications of the candidates [% of marks obtained in the 10+2/XII Examination will be considered]. The
decision of the Selection Committee/Director of CSIR-NEERI will be final and binding in case of method to
be adopted in case of tie(s).
The Director, CSIR-NEERI reserves the right to modify the Scheme of Examinations/tests, if
considered necessary, which will be duly notified on website of the institute, if so.
BENEFITS UNDER CSIR SERVICE:
i] These posts, in addition to Pay in the Pay Bands with Grade Pay, carry usual allowances i.e. Dearness
Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to
the Central Government employees as made applicable to CSIR employees. They are also eligible
for council accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR Staff Quarters Allotment Rules
depending on availability in which case HRA will not be admissible to them [The total emolument
shown above are including element of HRA as admissible]
ii] The selected candidates will be governed by the ‘New Pension Scheme, 2004’ based on defined
contributions as adopted by CSIR for its employees. In addition, they will also be entitled to
Reimbursement of Medical Expenses and Tuition Fees, Leave Travel Concession, Conveyance
Advance, House Building Advance, etc. as per CSIR rules
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. The appointment is in CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute under the
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research [CSIR], which is a central autonomous body.
3. The prescribed upper age limit is 28 years. There is no age limit for departmental candidates (CSIR
employees) provided they possess the prescribed qualifications. The last date for receipt of
applications shall be the date for determining the upper age limit & qualifications required.

4. The number of vacancies indicated against each post/category are provisional and may vary at the
time of selection. In case the posts of Jr. Stenographers meant for any other Zonal Laboratories
viz. Chennai, Kolkata or Mumbai, could not be filled up due to candidates not able to qualify, the
post(s) will be filled from the candidates qualified for the posts for Headquarters/Other Zonal
Laboratories if available on the panel, as per the merit.
5. The outstation candidates FOUND ELIGIBLE FOR INTERVIEW only against the post codes 04, 05 and
06, sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchanges at Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai as well
candidates from these three places, will be paid single second class rail fare or ordinary bus fare
by the shortest route on through ticket basis from Railway Station/Bus Stand nearest to their
normal place of residence or from which they actually perform the journey, whichever is nearer to
the place of interview and back to the same station. No extra charges, if any, incurred for reserving
seat/sleeping berth in train will, however, be reimbursed to the candidates. The ST Candidates
and the handicapped ex-military personnel, if any, attending the interview will also be paid T.A. on
the same lines. No other candidates will be paid T.A. For reimbursement, Rail Tickets/PNR
Numbers/Bus Tickets to be produced as proof.
RELAXATIONS:
1. Relaxation in age limit to the candidates belonging to categories of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/
Ex-servicemen/Meritorious Sportspersons and women [widows, divorced women who are
not re-married and women judicially separated from their husbands] will be as per Government
of India rules. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates who apply against the posts not reserved
for them are not eligible for age relaxation in respect of such posts and they are treated on par with
general candidates in respect of their selection [Application Fee Exemption is, however,
applicable for SC and ST candidates in such cases].
2. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions prescribed under Government
of India instructions are encouraged to apply. Relaxation in age-limit shall be applicable to them
irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved for them or not, provided the post is identified
suitable for persons with disabilities. They are required to produce a Disability Certificate issued by
the Competent Authority in the prescribed form, as per Government of India orders, in support of
their claims. Only such persons would be eligible for P.W.D. reservation for the relevant category who
suffer from not less than 40% relevant disability as per the Disability Certificate [Prescribed form of
the Disability Certificate to be produced is uploaded on the web site of CSIR-NEERI for reference.]
PLEASE NOTE, P.W.D. CANDIDATES SHOULD MENTION IN APPLICATIONS, THEIR CASTE/ COMMUNITY
LIKE SC/ST/ OBC or GEN as reservation for this category is of horizontal nature.
3. Relaxation in age for widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their
husbands and who are not re-married will be up to the age of 35 years (up to 40 years for
members of SC/ST and up to 38 years for members belonging to the Other Backward Classes in
respect of posts reserved for them). The persons claiming age relaxation under this category
would be required to produce the following documentary evidence:(a) In case of widow, Death C ertificate of her husband together with the affidavit that she
has not remarried since.

(b) In case of divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, a certified
copy of the Judgment/decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the
judicial separation, as the case may be, with an affidavit in respect of divorced women that
they have not remarried since.
4. Relaxation of 05 years will also be permissible to those who had ordinarily been domiciled in
Kashmir division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1.1.1980 to
31.12.1989, subject to production of relevant certificate from concerned authority.
5. The claim of the candidates for belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc. categories, will be
considered subject to submission of self- attested photocopies of their c a s t e /
c o m m u n i t y / P H certificates in the prescribed format issued by the concerned competent
authorities in support of their claims for the relaxation in age limit etc. The closing date for
receipt of applications will be treated as the date of reckoning for OBC status and also for
determining the creamy layer status who have also to sign declaration in prescribed form before
the interview [uploaded on the web site]. The certificate on creamy layer status should have been
issued three years before the last date of receipt of application. The OBC certificates should be in
the format FOR APPOINTMENT TO POSTS UNDER THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA with reference to
relevant Government of India Orders meeting the Creamy Layer Criteria as laid down by the
Government of India and not for appointment in any of the States of the Union bearing reference
to those State Government Orders.
OTHER CONDITIONS:
1. The educational qualifications should be from a recognized Board or University. Candidate must
ensure that he/she possesses educational qualification, technical qualifications in Typewriting
and Stenography a s required for the category/post, for which he/she is applying, as on the last
date of receipt of application and enclose the self-attested copies of the certificates in
support thereof. Candidates should have certificates of Typewriting & Stenography for the
required speeds only from the Bureau of Government Examinations of Maharashtra State or of
Other States/Certificates issued by any other institution as may be specifically declared by
Government to be equivalent thereto or by I.T.I.s. The candidates not meeting these essential
requirements will not be considered by the duly constituted Screening Committee for calling for
the initial competitive written examination itself. Further candidates with post graduate
qualifications may not be screened in by the Screening Committee to give opportunities to
candidates having 10+2/XII Qualifications with Graduate Degree at the most since the post is of
lower category to be filled on local/regional basis from candidates having lower qualifications and
that the functions of the posts will be met by candidates having such qualification. No enquiry
asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
2. In respect of equivalency of Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular
qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement, then he/she is
required to produce order/letter in this regard, indicating the Authority (with number and date)
under which it has been so treated otherwise the application is liable to be rejected. The decision
of CSIR-NEERI with regard to equivalence of qualification(s) and about recognition of
Board/University shall be final and binding.

3. If any document/certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English, a transcript of
the same duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary is to be submitted.
4. Candidate must indicate in the application form as to whether any of their blood or close
relatives are employees of CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur/any of its zonal Labs. or CSIR or any Institute/
Laboratory of CSIR. Close relations would include wife/husband /son/ daughter /brother/ sister/
son-in-law/daughter-in-law and those who could be termed as blood relations.
5. It may please be well noted that the appointments to the reserved posts will be provisional and
subject to the verification of caste/community certificates through proper channels. If the
verification reveals that the claim of the candidate to belong to the ST/OBC is false OR it reveals
that the claim of the OBC candidate to belong to creamy layer is false, his/her services will be
terminated forthwith without assigning any further reason and without prejudice to such further
action as may be taken under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code for production of false
certificate. Further, the appointment of the candidates will be subject to their being found
medically fit in accordance with the standards of medical fitness as prescribed by the Government
for each individual post to be filled by Direct Recruitment by Selection vis-à-vis the disability in
case of PWD candidates.
6. As far as relaxation of selection standards for P.W.D.s is concerned, it will be like this - “If sufficient
number of Persons with Disabilities are not available on the basis of general standard to fill all the
vacancies reserved for them, candidates belonging to these categories may be selected under the
relaxed standard of selection to fill up the remaining vacancies reserved for them provided they
are not found unfit for such post(s)”.
7. In the case of posts reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes,
a lower standard of suitability for written examination/skill tests/interview, consistent with
efficiency in administration, will be applied.
8. Selected candidates shall be liable to serve in CSIR- N E E R I HQs./Zonal Laboratories of CSIRNEERI/ C.S.I.R.’s any other institute/laboratory.
9. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of One Year from the date of taking over
charge of the post. The Probationary period may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the
Competent Authority.
10. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing of any influence political or otherwise, will be treated
a disqualification for the post.
11. The decision of the Director, CSIR-NEERI in all matters relating to Eligibility, Equivalence of
Qualifications, Acceptance or Rejection of Applications, Mode of Selection, Scheme of
Examination, % of Qualifying Marks, and Conduct of E xamination/Interview wil l be final and
binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this
connection from any individual.
12. The Director, CSIR-NEERI reserves the right to cancel the advertisement/recruitment to any or all
the posts at any stage without assigning any reason.

HOW TO APPLY:1. The application in the p re scribed f orm which is available for downloading on our website
http://www.neeri.res.in under the link “Application Form in respect of Advertisement No.1/2015
– Administrative Posts”, duly filled in and completed in all respects, along with two recent
Photographs - one affixed on the application form and one stapled with it -, application fee and
self-attested copies of educational certificates, mark sheets, typewriting/ shorthand
certificates, caste/community certificate, experience certificate, if any, etc. should reach the
office of the Director, CSIR-NEERI, Nehru Marg, Nagpur-440020 on or before 10.07.2015. The
envelope should be super-scribed with the name of the Post & Post Code. Candidates applying
for more than one post, must submit separate applications for each post indicating the Post
Code Number which must also be accompanied by separate Demand Draft (s) towards
application fee (s).
Application form can also be obtained in person from the Recruitment and Assessment Section of CSIRNEERI, Nagpur at the above address OR by sending a self-addressed envelope (size 27.5 cms x 13 cms)
affixed with postal stamps of Rs.10/-. The application form (s) should be obtained well before closing time
so that the completed applications (s) reach (s) the institute on or before the closing date for receipt of
applications which is 10th July, 2015.
2. An application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) - non-refundable - is payable
in the form of a crossed Demand Draft with minimum validity of 03 months drawn in
favour of the “Director, CSIR-NEERI”, Nehru Marg, Nagpur and Payable at Nagpur. The
Bankers of the CSIR-NEERI are State Bank of India, NEERI Branch, Nagpur (Code 04224).
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWD Category and regular employees of
CSIR as well as identified Casual Workers in CSIR are exempted from payment of
application fee. Fee, once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The
following details must be filled up on back side of the Demand Draft (1) Candidate’s
Name (ii) Candidate’s Category (iii) Advertisement No. and (iv) Post Code No. applied
for.
3. Applications from Employees of Government Departments, Public Sector Undertaking,
Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Government Departments etc. will be considered only if forwarded
through proper channel along with vigilance clearance certificate, with clear indication that
the applicant will be relieved within one month from the receipt of the appointment
order, if selected. However, advance copy o f th e application may be submitted before the
closing date.
4. Candidates should specifically note that the applications received after the closing date for receipt
of applications for any reason whatsoever, such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered
elsewhere, postal delay, late drawal of DD, etc. will not be entertained. Incomplete applications
[such as without photographs, unsigned and without application fee/not accompanied with
required certificates/documents etc.] will be summarily rejected. Any enclosure received
separately subsequent to the receipt of the application cannot be connected therewith. No
representation in this regard will be entertained.
5. Any discrepancy found between the information given in the application and as evident in original
documents will make the candidate ineligible for appearing in interview as they have to produce
originals of all the certificates/documents at the time of interview for verification.

6. Any Notification regarding this recruitment such as, list of candidates called for examination/tests
and dates of written competitive examination, dates of typewriting/shorthand tests, scheme of
examination, % of minimum qualifying marks if revised, interviews, etc. will be displayed on our
website: http://www.neeri.res.in from time to time.
7. If a candidate does not have a valid E-mail id, he/she should create a new valid E-mail id before
applying and indicate it at appropriate place in the Application Form so that communications can
be sent to him/her on that mail.
8. The Recruitment to these administrative posts is governed by the “Administrative Services
[Recruitment & Promotion] Rules, 1982”, as amended from time to time.
