Huracan
Huracan is the name of the Maya God of wind, storm,
hurricanes and fire. The word hurricane originates from
the name of this deity. He is also called Hunraqan –
‘One legged’, or U K’ux Kaj – Heart of the Heavens,
or in the times of the post classic and classic Maya:
God K, or K’awiil. In Maya mythology he is one of the
creator gods who assisted with the three attempts to
create humanity. He created the Big Flood to destroy the
second humanity. As Hunraqan – which literally means
one legged – he is the god of lightning, with one human
leg and one leg shaped as a snake. The lightning god
brought fertility in agriculture, especially for corn and
cocoa. You recognize him by the zoömorphic (animal features) head, large
eyes, long upward curling nose/snout, snake teeth, one snake foot/leg,
holding a torch, with a stone axe or a cigar protruding from its forehead.

Storm is one of the most powerful seals of the Maya Calendar, with lots of
energy and strength. It is connected with natural powers such as thunder,
lightning, hailstorms, heavy downpour, hurricanes and cyclones (velocities
higher than the hurricane threshold of wind 12), intense heat and solar
storms. In the old days the Maya were very apprehensive when a Storm
year had arrived and performed lots of ceremonies, at the beginning as well
as during the year, to ward off evil. Storm is also the patron of conflicts
and of midwifes, who work on the edge of life and death. Blue is the color
of transformation. Blue Storm will bring a year where all kinds of things
will be transformed, and cleansed. Storm, with its thunder and lightning,
is a powerful transformer. Storm always wants to ‘purifiy’, and sometimes
does that in very impressive ways. It might sweep away everything it finds
on its way. Sometimes that is a good thing. The ones who still do not want
to face the fact that we humans have to make a choice about the way we
deal with each other, will not be able to close their eyes for this fact any
longer. You must understand that every transformation you go through
mirrors exactly what is happening in the world around you. So every
problem you solve for yourself means one problem less for planet Earth.

The Popol Vuh, creation story of the Maya, talks of
three gods of lightning who stood at the base of the
creation of planet Earth, the human race and the
animals in the primordial sea (primordial soup). The
Maya were right. Scientists now know that storms
and thunderstorms played an important role in the
genesis of life on Earth. The primordial soup once
existed of basic inorganic materials that - due to
the electricity generated by thunderstorms – started
to interact with each other, and thus created the
first building blocks for organic life. But even today
thunderstorms are still of the utmost importance to us.

The electrical discharge that takes place during thunderstorms worldwide
creates a vibration in the electromagnetic field between the surface of the Earth
and the underside of the ionosphere, high up in the atmosphere of the Earth.
They strike – so to speak – the atmospheric field of the Earth like a violin string.
This is the heart frequency of the Earth, or Schumann resonance. The basic
frequency is 7.83 Hz. This changes when a lot of thunderstorms take place in
the atmosphere of the Earth. It turns out that people, animals and plants all
align themselves with this basic frequency. Disturbing this frequency impacts
the way we function. The Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Physiology
in Erling- Andechs built an underground bunker that completely filters out
electromagnetic fields. Some students volunteered to live for four weeks in these
hermetically closed off surroundings. After these four weeks, the students were

emotionally distressed; their biological clock was disturbed and they suffered
from stress, headaches and dizziness. Astronauts in outer space turned out to
quickly feel exhausted and disoriented. After installing a device that artificially
generates these waves, they are now able to return from space sound and
safe. Ingrid P. Dickenson warns in her book Earth Breathing Waking Times
against artificial radiation and noise interference by the different frequencies
of wireless networks. These days, measuring the Schumann resonance is not
possible any longer. We literally created an environment that is ‘out of tune’
with nature itself. It is imperative to understand that all living things react to
even the most subtle changes in the magnetic- and electromagnetic fields that
surround us. The Schumann resonance functions as a natural tuning fork, not
only for the biological oscillators in our brains, but with all life processes. At any
rate, we see that the complaints from people who say they are experiencing
health problems due to radiation, are similar to the complaints of the students
and the astronauts; headache, dizziness, loss of concentration, chronic fatique,
sleeping problems, severe mood swings, painful joints, back problems, abnormal
heart rhythms, hormone fluctuations, dysfunctional organs, a poorly functioning
immune system, a daily sense of general unease and hyperactivity (in children).
Message of the Kogi
“About fifteen years ago a long-lost Native American tribe was
discovered in the mountains of Colombia, bordering the Brazilian
Amazon. These were the Kogi, a tribe existing of about 1200 people,
descendants of the highly developed Tairona civilization, who had
about a thousand years ago fled into the mountains, to escape from
the aggressively advancing Carib-people. The striking thing was that
the Kogi had expected their white discoverers to find them. In their
prophesies it was told that this would happen, and that it would be
their duty to warn the white people that our planet was in danger.
Although the Kogi had never had any previous contact with other
civilizations, they turned out - by way of their highly developed
telepathic skills - to be rather well informed about the general state of
affairs in the world. They explained that they talked on a daily basis
with Mother Earth, and that she had told them to share their wisdom
with the rest of the world.
People like Drunvalo Melchizedek and other members of the New Age
movement became very interested in these ‘pure’ people that lived
and spoke from their hearts. A few years later, they managed to
arrange that a few members of the Kogi tribe took part in an important
conference - taking place in the US - of the indigenous peoples of the
America’s. From what I heard from some of the attendees of this
memorable and unique gathering, the Kogi made a deep impression
with their profound knowledge and wisdom.

After that, it became quiet around them for a couple of years. Until
Spirit ‘told’ them it was time to again send some representatives out
into the world. Where? This time to the other side of the ocean; to the
‘Low Lands’, the Netherlands and Flanders/Belgium. By ‘coincidence’
I became closely involved with this project and could therefore tell you
some juicy stories about everything that went ‘right and wrong’ while
organizing this event (try organizing passports for people who have
no clue about the concept of Columbia, Peru or the Netherlands, and
who eventually bordered the Boeing 747 on bare feet). The question
remains: why did the Kogi especially have to visit the Netherlands,
of all places? Five Kogi men (two older and three younger) spoke in
the Low Lands for hundreds of people. They were accompanied by
two female translators, who could convert their story from Kogi into
Spanish, and this was then again translated by others into Dutch.

Telepathic contact with the Kogi
[…] I can tell you now that a few of us (of the organization) discovered
that it was quite easy to communicate with them telepathically.
Even in the weeks after they had returned to their homelands, the
exchange of information continued. Among other things, they told
me that they had to come to the Netherlands because the highest
amount of wise old souls could be found here, particularly from
the time of Atlantis. But also that this high content of wisdom of
the souls in our country is inversely proportional to the blanket of
electronic (artificial) media that suppresses it. The Kogi showed the
image of a blanket that covered as well as suppressed us by means
of Main Stream Media ‘information’, as well as fields of electronic
radiation (UMTS, Wifi, radar, etc. etc.).
And now it comes: they were informed that this ‘blanket’ would soon
burst open, and that an enormous flood of wisdom and information
would be spread around the world by our people. That’s why they
had to share their wisdom especially with us.
Harriët Algra, main organizer of the Kogi tour to our habitat, was
able to confirm this image perfectly. And for me personally it also
was a confirmation of the stories I had heard over the years while
contacting and working with all kinds of different American shamans.

The silence after the Storm
Who knows, maybe it will really happen; this dam of
electromagnetic radiation bursting open in the Netherlands. There
is a big chance that if it happens, it will happen here, because the
Netherlands have the highest radiation density in the whole world
(or one of the highest). What the impact would be when this happens, we do
not know. But remember this: - and anyone who ever experienced a violent
storm knows it - after the storm it is always clean and quiet. The air is full
of negative ions; extremely fine negatively charged air particles. This is very
healthy for human beings. Also near a waterfall, or after heavy rains you will
find these negative ions. They give us lots of fresh energy and relax the body.
Storm as the second to last seal
Storm – Kawak in Maya – is the second to last of the 20 Solar Seals. Sun
is the last one. Sun stands for unconditional love and the universal flame,
which is not only present in each of us, but connects us all with each other.
Sun is a beautiful state of being, sometimes called ‘enlightenment’. Kawak
is the great purification before you reach the state of enlightenment. It is the
necessary preparation before a shift in consciousness can take place. For
the Maya, reality is not an established fact, but a perpetual state of creation.
Reality can be changed, with the power of our collective mind. They are telling
us about an impending and profound shift of dimensions and that powerful
galactic energies are working together to help us, humanity, with these
changes. You can use the energy and power of Storm to release old karma
and negativity and to transform. You will rise from the ashes like a Phoenix.
Storm as catalyst and energizer
When your truth is compromised, you can feel Blue Storm arise from deep
down inside. An enormous amount of energy surges up, and usually
when it reaches your chest, it explodes outward as anger. We have
become afraid of this. Sometimes your own anger might scare you, and if
not - it will frighten those around you. Anger is frowned upon, it is seen
as something negative. Anger has even become taboo. While by nature
it is such a powerful transformer. Athletes use this power to energize
themselves. Blue Storm is a catalyst; an emotion transformed into energy.
You can use this power too, once you ‘become friends’ with Blue Storm.

Just let it happen, let the water of the pouring rain rinse you clean, let all
remorse, shame, guilt and pain be washed away and connect you again with
your divine destiny.
Tone 11
Tone 11 is the Spectral Tone of liberation. After the manifestation
(Tone 10) you may liberate it and release it into the world. What we release is
the magic of the Magician, planetary healing and the destination of our own
life purpose.
Summary:
What to expect this year:
• Lots of anger, restlessness and chaos, in your emotional life as well as in
the world.
• Many things will happen that touches your own core-beliefs. Heed it!
• It is no longer possible to escape from the truth.
• Take your responsibility and take action on what touched you. Get into
action. Only you know what that action must be.
• Use the energy released by your anger for transformation, because together
we can move mountains with all this energy.
• Stop damaging our Mother, the Earth, stop the poisoning of humans,
animals and plants, stop cutting our giant trees, the lungs of the Earth.
We have allowed all this for far too long. Ouch!

11 Storm is the eleventh year in a cycle of 13 years,
that began with 1 Moon. This Red Moon seal imparts
its energy to these 13 years; the purpose of Red Moon
is emotional purification. Now, in this eleventh year
- once more in the Moon Wavespell – Storm, a severe
transformer, will clean up the last remains of our

The return of Father Earth
Where there is a mother, there must be a father. Where there is a grandfather,
there is a grandmother. Anyone who has ever seen or drawn a family tree
knows this. Even if they died, or left right after the child was born, there
is always a mother and a father. And still… now that the western world
is slowly rediscovering the concept of Mother Earth, it is only logical for
herbalist and naturopath Olof Smit to introduce to us a ‘Father Earth’.
For many people Mother Earth is just a symbol for the beauty of planet Earth
that feeds and enriches us. As a real mother, she generously offers us her
milk (water), fruits, timber and other resources, so that we, her children, can
live. But Mother Earth is more than that; she is the living consciousness that
inhabits planet Earth. She is an intelligence that you can get into contact with.
People who live close to nature know this already for centuries, they consider
everything as imbued with sprit and alive. Trees, stones, rivers, stars, plants,
thunder, but also words and utensils all have power; everything is alive
and has their own soul. The power or deity of a lime tree is different from
the power or deity of an oak. One river is not the same as another river and
we can all feel the character and different appearances of water: a brook is
different from a pool, a puddle, a lake or the sea. With rapids and waterfall’s
this is even more obvious. You can for instance feel a waterfall as a vivid
tingle in your own blood. We can still feel these things. Unfortunately, we are
not used to paying attention to these feelings anymore, to be in touch with it.
Many of us have sometimes been in touch with the consciousness of Mother
Earth. When Olof Smit, in his book ‘Father Earth’, (earthfather.eu/EN/
home.php) introduced a Father Earth next to Mother Earth, I was very
surprised. He writes: “While Mother Earth stands for Fertility, Father Earth
stands for Acting Natural. Father Earth was banished, so that our economy,
by acting unnaturally, would be able to have quantitative production”
These words resonated with me. Father Earth meant acting in accordance
with Mother Earth. It is all about harmony. Father Earth was back, as if
he had never left. Now I understood why tuning in to Mother Earth brings
such powerful heart energy, but at the same time a difficulty to act. Mother
Earth is about Receiving, Father Earth about Action. Together with Father
Earth we can calibrate our actions to what is beneficial for planet Earth
ánd for humanity. I believe that in this way we can find a kind of balance
that is also good for society and the new economy. Father Earth is the
answer to our helplessness; the helpless looking on at how governments
and multinationals confiscate and destroy our beautiful planet Earth.
May Father Earth rise up in a powerful way
and give all of us a crash course
in how to act respectfully.

The guide of Spectral Storm is Storm. Tone 1, 6 and 11 guide
themselves. So, always keep the goal of Storm in mind: purification.
The challenge (antipode) is Red Moon. Moon stands for water,
feelings and the flow of them. This year’s challenge is: feel your
emotions and let them flow and not accumulate into anger.
he hidden power (occult) is White Wind. Every storm starts as

wind. Wind is the softness of a summer breeze that reminds the
fierce Storm to the fact that sometimes softness is a better purifier.
Wind stands behind Storm, it pushes forth Storm, so to speak. It is
good to know that there is a higher purpose behind all these
transformations, because Wind is the power of the Holy Spirit, of
Great Spirit, when it bursts forth and - with the consent of Great
Spirit – cleanses all it comes across. So, trust in the successful
outcome of the transformations taking place in your life. It serves a
higher purpose. Wind will assist you in finding and speaking your
own truth.

This is the unconditional love that they both share, for the wellbeing
of Mother Earth and her inhabitants. Sun and Storm together create
a Solar Storm. When these charged particles enter the atmosphere
of the Earth, they can create northern lights, cause blackouts,
disturb radio signals and paralyze satellites. What would you want
to paralyze?
Day Out of Time
13 Moons of 28 days amount to 364 days. The only day left is the Day out of
Time, celebrated each year on July 25. In the 13-Moon Calendar, July 26 is the
first day of the New Year. July 25 is the day in between two years, a Day out
of Time. It’s a day on which connections are made: the old is let go of and the
intention for the following year is set. It is a day of being conscious. The Day
out of Time is the ‘Galactic Be In’, when we celebrate that we are all artists,
co-creators of the One Creation as Galactic beings, living as human beings
on Earth, together with the four-legged ones, the winged ones, the crawling
ones, the finned ones of the waters, the standing ones, the stone people, the

plants, the water, air and fire. This day is a day for peace and culture and is
celebrated all over the world. Many thousands of people get together through
the power of love and telepathy, in order to let our human culture bloom in

of darkness and the domain of dreams. Darkness changes your sensory
perception. The information obtained this way may surprise you. Have no
fear, become still and experience. In stillness connection takes place. We
connect with the creatures with whom we share the Earth; the crawling, finned
and four-legged, the winged, the upright people, the plants and trees, the
stone people, the waters, winds and fires. Dream the dream of oneness and
abundance.

I do not think up covers, but tune in onto the year energy. On this year’s cover
a Phoenix wanted to be born. The Maya of old were always apprehensive when
a Storm year approached. It can become quite intense, but remember that Storm
always rages with the intention to purify and transform, and that from the ashes
of this fire of transformation the Phoenix will arise.
The Phoenix is the mystical bird across cultures and throughout time. It builds
its own funeral pyre or nest, and ignites it with a single clap of its wings. After
death it rises gloriously from the ashes and flies away. THe Phoenix is a symbol
of eternal life and profound transformation; to burn the old and to create a new
form from the ashes. The Phoenix wanted to be the totem for this Storm Year.
Tone 11 is ‘to let go’, to burn the old. Blue Storm is the ability to generate energy
out of the blue to use for transformation and healing.
