Week 8 is here and Easter is a few days away. Remember it is back to school on Wednesday, as Friday,
Monday and Tuesday are school holidays.
A big mihi to our parents who have generously given their time to help out with our school gardens,
preparing lunches for our tamariki and to those who support our school in many other ways.
We are so appreciative of your support.
The Football programme has been a huge success with our tamariki, particularly our young girls.
This program has one more week to run post Easter.
Please remember when you are dropping off and collecting your children, to not park on the yellow lines.
On behalf of our school, I would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Matua Peter (Caretaker of 25
years) and whānau in the loss of a beloved family member.
Moe mai e Te Whāea i ngā ringa ō ā mātou Ariki. Takoto, takoto, e moe.
Have a safe Easter and see you all on Wednesday.

beside the junior playground. Feel free to come down and
join us if you feel like some fresh air!

CAB - Citizen Advice Bureau
It’s incredibly rewarding being a CAB volunteer. On
any given day, we could be asked about anything
under the sun – from tenancy rights, locating a
support group or having documents signed by a JP, to
finding out whether a person is entitled to a benefit.
Also, we are looking for pre-loved forks/trowels you may
have going spare that you would be happy to donate to the
school – please contact Kirsten on 021 337 457 or just
drop them to the school office.
We have a great team of trained volunteers who love
being activiely involved in the community, helping
people and having a bit of a laugh.
If you’re interested in becoming a CAB volunteer just
pop into Petone Citizens Advice bureau at 6,
Britannia Street, or call 568 8877or send us an email
at [email protected] for more info.
