Assessment Task 1: Team reflection
Goal:
The purpose of this formative task is for the team to demonstrate that its individual
members have observed and reflected on their own values in relation to the team’s
experience with identifying team roles and communication strategies. The feedback will
provide feedback that can be incorporated into Task 2.
Product: A single collaborative group reflection to be submitted by each team.
Format:
This is a formative team assessment. The reflection captures key points about individual
experiences to date relative to the identified team roles you will have discovered through
the use of experiential exercises during the foundation stages of the course. The experiences
should be related to concepts covered to date.
Criteria
The performance of the team is assessed based on demonstration of critical analysis of
theory, the application of theory and conceptual frameworks, and quality of the report’s
presentation. Detailed assessment criteria will be posted on the Blackboard site for this
course.

Assessment Task 2: Team Report 1
Goal:
The purpose of this task is for you to demonstrate an understanding of introductory level
theory with practical examples of your team’s experience with identifying team roles and
communication strategies.
Product: A single collaborative group report to be submitted by each team.
Format:
This is a team assessment. The report interprets the application of theories and critically
analyses their suitability relative to the identified team roles you will have discovered
through the use of experiential exercises during the foundation stages of the course. The use
of models throughout the report is required. The assessment will appraise the report’s
seamlessness, i.e not a cut and paste exercise, but a well edited single document that
demonstrates the inclusion and integration of everyone including during final edit and
submission stages. The outcome of team work should produce a document that is superior
to the efforts of an individual. Specific terms of reference for the report will be posted on
the Blackboard site for this course.
Criteria
The performance of the team is assessed based on demonstration of critical analysis of
theory, the application of theory and conceptual frameworks, and quality of the report’s
presentation. Please note that an important part of the assessment is the inclusion of the
team’s appraisal of each member’s contribution to the report (full details about this aspect
will be available on the Blackboard site for this course). Detailed assessment criteria
(including a style guide) will be posted on the Blackboard site for this course. .

mere group existence to a high performing team.
A single collaborative group report to be submitted by each team
This is a team assessment. The report is a vehicle for the team to reflect on its learning
journey about the development of team skills and performance and through that process

during the course including, but not restricted to: psychological contracting, cohesiveness,
norms, values, conflict management, team skills, task skills, and leadership. The use of
models throughout the report is required. The assessment will appraise the report’s

demonstrates the inclusion and integration of everyone including during final edit and
submission stages. The outcome of team work should produce a document that is superior
to the efforts of an individual. Specific terms of reference for the report will be posted on
the Blackboard site for this course.
The performance of the team is assessed on the demonstration of the critical analysis of
theory in team development, the application of theory and conceptual frameworks in team
skills development, the quality of the report’s presentation. As this is a piece of work
applying the resources of everyone on the team, accuracy and professional quality of the
report will be scrutinised. Please note that an important part of the assessment is the
inclusion of the team’s appraisal of each member’s contribution to the report (full details
about this aspect will be available on the Blackboard site for this course). Detailed
