Reading
Readers will have our Wisconsin Forward State Test on Tuesday and Wednesday
next week during reading and writing class. Thank you for always helping your child
get a good night rest and a great breakfast so they are ready to show off their skills.
Writing
Writing will focus on personal narratives for our final piece of writing this year. Talk
with your child about what important event they picked, from their life, to share in
their writing.
Math
We are wrapping up Part One of Unit 8 with a test on Wednesday, April 26th. Please
help your child to review the Metric and Customary systems of measurement before
this test. They should have many workbook pages to practice on, or they can use IXL
(Section Z: Units of Measure).
Social Studies
Next states quiz:
Southeast Capitals
Students are finishing up their study of the Revolutionary War, and continuing their
online timeline. Ask your child what battle ended the Revolutionary War!
Science
This week in science students are continuing their discovery of matter. They are
learning about mixtures and solutions. Ask your scientist to give you some examples
of what the difference is between a mixture and a solution.
Thanks!
