Systems also feature a retractable, side-mounted, 22.9 cm (9")
collector drain line. A rear-mounted electrical receptacle allows
for vacuum pump connection (pump not included). Rear-mounted
RS-232 port transmits data to a computer with transmission
intervals which may be user-configured for 10, 30, 60, 300, or
600 seconds.
LCD displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters,
and alarm messages (choice of temperature in °C and °F, choice
of vacuum in mBar, Pa, or Torr) and LED graphic displays relative
vacuum and condenser temperatures. Alarms alert you to power
interruptions, servicing needs, and other events. Moisture sensor
prevents refrigeration or vacuum start-up when moisture is
detected in the collector chamber area. Vacuum break valve that
bleeds air into the system when power to the freeze dryer or
vacuum pump is shut off.
