In the morning, a guided tour of Manhattan in French: Greenwich Village and the West Village, Canal
Street, Mott Street, the main streets of Chinatown, and Mul-berry Street in Little Italy, Wall Street, New York
Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, 5th Avenue, Empire State Building, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller
Center, Times Square and Broadway, with its giant illuminated billboards, shows, theaters, and musicals.
Hibachi lunch. Afternoon at leisure in vibrant Midtown. Evening at leisure.

Day 03: Saturday - New York – Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Transfer to Battery Park accompanied by your guide (and using the subway if it is a small group) then
board a ferry, stopping first at the island of the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of a new life for the countless
immigrants who came to seek their fortunes in the New World. Then continue to Ellis Island to visit the
immigration museum there, where the numerous stages of an immigrant’s difficult journey are on display
in realistic detail. Absorbing first-hand accounts, archives, fascinating documents and complex exhibits tell
fascinating the tale of the millions of people who passed through these offices, dormitories and medical
exam rooms. Lunch in Chinatown. Afternoon at leisure in the neighborhood. Evening at leisure.

Day 04: Sunday - New York - Harlem with Gospel Service
The morning will be devoted to a guided tour in French of Harlem, the capital of African American New
York. You will see the cathedral of St. John the Divine and Columbia University. You will stroll along 125th
Street, the principal artery that runs through the neighborhood, and will pass by the Apollo theater, which
has welcomed a host of musical greats such as James Brown and Michael Jackson. We will take the chance
to see a gospel service in a local church. Lunch at a typical American restaurant. Then we continue to the
Empire State Building for a visit of the observatory. The end of day and evening are at leisure.

• According to the number of passengers per flight, the arrival transfer will be provided by private
bus with assistance in French, or by private car (chauffeur greets passengers with a welcome sign
– no French language assistance). Return transfer provided in private bus with French language
assistance if many passengers depart on the same flight, or by shuttle without French assistance
for passengers departing via other flights or airports.
• Meeting Point North America can not guarantee transfers the day of arrival in case of erroneous
flight information provided by its partners and also in case of other events beyond its control such
as flight delays, strikes, change of airport or terminal, erroneous signage or passengers being
detained by customs or immigration authorities.
• Child rates apply to children 12 & under staying with 2 adults and sharing existing bedding.
• In fairness to all and to give everyone a variety of vantage points from which to see the passing
scenery, a mandatory coach seat rotation will be implemented. Once the tour guide has implemented the seat rotation policy, there will be no exceptions.
• Many hotels in North America are now 100% smoke-free. This smoke-free policy includes all guest
rooms, restaurants, lounges and public areas. Smoking in a non-smoking room will result in a fine
of up to US$350 per room payable locally.
• Meeting Point North America reserves the right to operate a tour in a minibus should the number
of participants warrant it.
• If clients extend their stay or check out late and must store their luggage at the bell desk it is their
financial responsibility.
• If clients arrive or check in early on day 01 and must store their luggage at the bell desk it is their

• In the case of low passenger count Meeting Point North America, in conjunction with its partners,
may try to rebook the same vacation with a different departure date or a similar vacation.
• Occasionally, for operational reasons, Meeting Point North America may have to change the order of the excursions or meals while keeping the same tour inclu-sions.

after or prior to the actual tour date
