HOSTING CONTACTS If you are staying in the residence halls and need help, go to your floor’s resident advisor (RA). If you cannot find the RA, you should contact the community desk assistant, located at the front door of each residence hall complex, at 312.808.6500 (or, from any campus phone, x8.6500). If you are staying in a fraternity or sorority house and a problem arises that you or your host can’t handle, the recruitment chair or another house officer can assist you. If your family is here with you, they have been given the name and campus phone number of your host. John Kallend is a professor of engineering and physics, and is an experienced skydiver who has made more than 2,700 jumps and set several world records for large skydiving formations.
