Poetic Elements in “Mending Wall”
Beneath are several poetic elements we discussed last week. With another student find
examples of these elements in the poem “Mending Wall” by Robert Frost and quote
them in the space provided. Once this is done discuss the specific element that has
been used and its effects. Write and explain a theory of why this element and no other
element needed to be there, and how the poem would be changed if the element were
different or removed.
