DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Add PRO-BALANCE to tank when half full; agitate thoroughly while
adding remaining water. Water temperature plays an important role
in determining fertilizer solubility. The higher the water temperature,
the greater the solubility and quicker the dissolving time. As fertilizers
are added to the solution, there is an immediate decrease in water
temperature. It is important when preparing concentrated solutions
to allow for this temperature drop to ensure that all of the fertilizer is
properly dissolved.
Spray Tank: Mix 1/2 pound in 25 gallons water and apply 1 quart per
square foot as a normal watering on a 1 to 2-week basis.
Transplants (Vegetables, Flowers, Trees, Shrubs, Seedlings, etc.):
Mix 1 pound in 50 gallons of water and apply on a 2 to 3-week basis.
Water in thoroughly.
Foliar Feed: Mix 1 pound in 50 gallons (475 ppm N) and use every 2 to
3 weeks. Do not spray flowers in bloom.
Established Lawns, Golf Courses and Turf Areas: Use 5 pounds in
100 gallons of water per 5,000 sq. ft., or 1 pound in 10 gallons of water
per 1,000 sq. ft., or 15 level tablespoons in 4 gallons of water per 400 sq.
ft. Repeat applications every week to two weeks or as turf shows need.
This product MAY be applied in a concentrated solution of 1 pound in 2
to 3 gallons of water, provided it is well soaked into the soil immediately
after application or when soil moisture is very high.
Nursery and Ornamentals: Use at the rate of 2 to 4 pounds per 100
gallons of water or per acre on plants, flowers, shrubs and trees for
direct spray to foliage and for transplanting work. Apply early in the
morning when temperatures are cool and good drying conditions are
present. Do not apply late in the day or under any conditions that will
cause plants to remain wet for long periods.
Shade Trees and Shrubs: Use at the rate of 5 to 10 pounds per
100 gallons of water. Apply early in
the growing season and whenever
