Mary Ellen Gates White, 56, passed away Sept. 29, 2016 in
Santaquin. She was born December 24, 1959 in Park City,
Utah to Thomas J. and Calleen Mary Lake Gates. She
married Gregory Lynn White Sept. 16, 1978 in Spanish Fork
and they were married for 38 years.
Mary attended schools in Park City and Spanish Fork. She
had worked as a Veterinary Tech and at Fritzi in Spanish
Fork. She enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, fishing, camping
and especially loved animals a lot. She was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother to her family and a friend to everyone
she met.

She is survived by her husband, Greg, sons Chad White,
Draper, Thomas White, Payson, daughters Rebecca
Christensen, Santaquin, Tiffany (Cory) White, Pleasant
Grove; grandkids, Taylor, Fayth, Kami, Jacob, Brittain;
mother-in-law, Grace Jensen, Missouri; sister, Barbara
(Doyle) Price, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her
parents, daughter Amber Grace White, granddaughter, Lily
Rose Irene Meidinger, father-in-law, Dennis Arthur White,
brother Richard Ray Gates, grandparents and many aunts and
uncles.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 3rd at 11:00 am at the
Santaquin 12th Ward, 90 South 200 East. Friends may call at
Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin
Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday at the church from 9:45
to 10:45 am. Burial, Goshen City Cemetery.
