RE-USE AND
RESTORATION
Offering a complete package, from initial design
through to construction, from conception to
completion Churngold Recycling is committed to
providing a product of quality and ensuring client
satisfaction.
An in-house team of design consultants, engineers
and contract managers ensure smooth and timely
undertakings of all projects. The team works with the
client, through all phases of the project, to ensure
that their expectations are realised.
We believe there is, and always has been, a strong business case
for corporate responsibility related to our environment.
Environmental protection is a global concern and the key issue for
all engine applications is exhaust emissions.
Churngold, established in the early 1980’s, offers a comprehensive
range of vehicles and drivers for all construction and civil
engineering work. The knowledge and expertise of Churngold has
established them as a major force in the earth moving industry.
Churngold Recycling owns, maintains, operates and invests in the
most comprehensive, up-to-date fleet of vehicles. Undertaking a
diversity of operations including earthmoving and landscaping
works we are responsible for hauling circa 20000,000 tonnes of
materials annually.
Churngold Recycling are totally aware of our responsibility to
ensure that our processes impact upon the environment as little as
possible. This means that not only do we take account of the
environmental aspects of our processes, but that the
environmental consequences of our vehicles daily use are also
specifically addressed.
At Churngold Recycling we strive to contribute to a cleaner
environment through the use of increasingly efficient vehicles and
continued driver training therefore delivering major contributions
to lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions.
We recognise that road transport has a carbon footprint and it is
in everyone’s interest to make that footprint as small as possible
so our environmental commitment doesn’t stay on the desk. We
constantly strive to improve energy efficiency in our operations.
Services are offered either as individual projects or as a
complete package, including planning applications and
liasing with the relevant authorities. Clients benefiting
from these services include local authorities, schools,
colleges, golf courses, football & rugby clubs and
private sector.

AND RECYCLING
Churngold Recycling have a broad base of customers ranging from private individuals to major construction groups and businesses. We
have tailored our services to suit our individual customer requirement, offering flexible hire periods and container changeover schedules.
With dedicated account managers who will make regular site visits and produce monthly reports if required. We take our environmental
management and protection seriously by offering a high quality service that is competitively priced whilst still meeting the requirements of
our customer and ever increasing legislation. Hazardous, confidential and difficult waste including Asbestos is handled by our fully trained
staff. Specialist containers are provided and all waste is taken to the appropriate specialised landfill sites.
ROLL-ON, ROLL-OFF
Churngold Recycling have a full range of containers designed to take large volumes of bulk waste which range from 16 - 40 yards. These
can be open or enclosed and can be used with a compaction system to efficiently reduce the waste into a more manageable volume. These
containers are ideal for mixed waste and segregation for recycling, therefore reducing the amount that goes straight to landfill.

ENVIRONMENTAL
SOIL SOLUTIONS
Our sites are authorised
under specific exemptions
from Environmental
Permitting (England and
Wales) Regulations, 2007.
These exemptions permit
the use of a range of waste
materials for reclamation
and constructions projects. All the materials used are subject to
analysis and supporting risk assessment.
We have used a Risk Based Approach in developing this criteria
which considers not only the risks to the local environment but
also to the local community.
Due to the large volume of waste required for these projects the
waste material is sourced from a number of sources. Therefore
Churngold Recycling Limited have developed a site specific Waste
Acceptance Criteria for wastes at all its exempt waste
management facilities. This criterion has been agreed with the
Environment Agency and Environmental Heath teams at the
relevant local authority.
