With the generalization of «Low energy
consumption» buildings, an airtight building
envelope is now considered has a paramount
to obtain indoor comfort and significant
reduction of energy consumption.
Avoids condensation and mold problems thanks
to SKYTECH high vapour permeability.
Installed as a roof underlayment, SKYTECH
creates a complete insulating envelope of the
roof avoiding thermal briges and heat
exchanges due to roof air leaks. This airtight
envelope allows the roof structure to breathe.
SKYTECH makes it possible to complete, with
only one installation, the insulation and the
weather barrier (airtight and waterproof ) of
the roof while allowing the roof structure to
breathe with a high vapour permeability.
With its high resilience characteristics and
high density (135 Kg / m3), SKYTECH alone has
a sound reduction capacity of Rw = 16 dB.

assaults like rain, snow, dirt, insects... especially
when traditional roofing materials are damaged.
Unlike traditional roof underlayments, SKYTECH
high density avoids noises due to wind clapping.
