Draft Bike Parking Study

Scope of the Project
Cycling Infrastructure and Programs (CIP) Unit of Transportation
Services has developed a Draft Bike Parking Study that is proposed to
be implemented in the summer and fall months of 2013.
The area under study is West Queen West, between Gladstone Ave.
and Markham St.
If implemented, the Study will entail 4 phases:
1. Pre-evaluation of the study area (June 2013)
2. Installation of bike parking, increasing the number of bike parking
spaces by over 30% (Sept-Oct 2013)
3. Post-evaluation and ongoing monitoring (Oct-Nov 2013)
4. Analyzing the findings and applying lessons learned in development
of a City of Toronto Bike Parking Strategy (Late 2013)
