Visiting Team Instructions
2014-15
Briarcrest Christian School welcomes our visiting guest and hope your visit to our campus is a fun, welcoming, safe and enjoyable
experience. We have some helpful instructions, guidelines and standards we have at Briarcrest Christian School to assist in your
stay.

DIRECTIONS
From Nashville
Take I-40 West toward Memphis. Get off at exit 20 Canada Road and head south. Go 7.5 miles and our campus is on the left.
From Downtown Memphis
Take I-240 to I-40 East toward Nashville. Get off at exit 20 Canada Road and head south. Go 7.5 miles and our campus is on the
left.
From Mississippi
Take I-55 North from Jackson toward Memphis. Head East on I-240 toward Nashville. Take I-240 to I-40 East toward Nashville. Get
off at exit 20 Canada Road and head south. Go 7.5 miles and our campus is on the left.
Bus Transportation for Players
Football – On the campus map there is as section labeled Bus Parking between the north end of the football field (C) and the baseball
field (A). If multiple busses are needed there is sufficient parking in that area or along the access road leading to the area labeled Bus
Parking.
Parking for Fans
Football fans are asked to park on the east side of the campus labeled Visitor Parking on the campus map. The visitor parking is well lit
and only a short walk to the east gate and visitor stands.
Tailgating
Tailgating is allowed and we ask that the visiting team tailgate in the section designated for visitor parking on the east side of the campus.
Campus Policies
- Alcohol and all tobacco products are strictly prohibited at ALL events.
- State law prohibits weapons on a school campus at ANY event.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed to enter.
- No pets are allowed.
- Inappropriate signage and behavior is prohibited and violators may be removed from the event.
Field Rules
- Please limit those on your sidelines to coaches, player, trainers and administrators.
- No access or running with flags in front of opposing school fans. Each team should remain on their respective side of the field.
- Please no gum or sunflower seeds on the football field and track.
Visiting Team Warm-Up
The south end of the football field is designated as the end of the field for the visiting team. This is the end zone closest to the main gate
and main concession stand. The home team will utilize the north end of the field closest to the scoreboard.
End Zone Filming
We ask that if the visiting team is filming on the field, utilize the south end zone to set up their cameras. This is the end zone closet to
the main gate and opposite of the scoreboard.
Press Box for Football
Enter the press box from the right as you walk up the home grandstands. There is limited space for your film crew- 2 or 3 maximum on
the roof. The center press box is the only place with access to the roof for both teams. We have space for a maximum of 4 inside the
press box, again on the right side next to the announcing crew.
Crowd Control
We ask that visiting administrators and coaches help in monitoring their fans sitting in the stands, as well as, those along the fence. Briarcrest Christian School reserves the right to remove anyone creating an unsafe environment.
Ticket Prices – Gates will open 90 minutes before scheduled kickoff.

Free Passes and Concession Allowance
- Briarcrest Christian School will provide free admission to Administrators, Officials and Coaches of the visiting school. Please notify
the Athletic Office (901-751-6408) by 1:00 p.m. Thursday of game week with a list of names to receive passes. These names will be
on a list at the gates to allow admission.
- Briarcrest Christian School will also provide a $10 coupon to be used at the concession stand for the Headmaster, Principal and
Athletic Director of the visiting school. These coupons will be given out at the game.
Concession Stands and Restrooms
There are two concession stands with restrooms available at each. The main concession stand, located at the south end of the field, will
be open at all events. The visitor’s concession stand is closed on certain events however the restroom facilities will always be available.
Parking for Home Fans
- Reserved Golden Saints: The parking lots between the High School and the main gate entrance are reserved for the Golden Saints Athletic Booster Club. Signs will be present to designate these areas.
- General Parking: All other parking is on a first come first served basis. Please observe any posted signs.
Medical Staff
For those teams that do not have a medical staff, we have Campbell’s Clinic trainers as well as EMT staff for football games available to
attend to athletes or fans that need medical attention.
