Program status
• Three students hired into the program in 2014
– From Jacksonville, Fort Pierce and Miami
– All three students remain in the program today
• 2 students to be included in this Apprentice Program by
2015 year end
• Training the young generation to enter the railroad industry
– Training includes all major railroad craft positions
• Candidates will join FECR traditional workforce after
18 months in either transportation, engineering,
or mechanical departments
