Tuesday Homeschool Programs Winter-Spring 2013 Our 2013 Homeschool classes will be broken up into to two different sessions and areas of study. In the first (from late January-early March), Born to Build, we will focus on the different homes that animals build to stay warm, be protected, capture prey, and even raise their young. Try our hand at replicating some of these homes and get a chance to BUILD our own! In the second (from late March-mid May), Warmth of the Sun, we will explore the many changes that take place as the seasons transition from winter to spring. Use your senses to explore amphibian activity during the warmer days of March, search for returning bird migrants in April, and investigate Moose Hill’s vernal pools in May for signs of life, and even conduct science experiments that help explain why the sun is as strong as it is this time of year. The possibilities are always endless at Moose Hill! Born to Build Tuesday, January 22—Chipmunks and Tree Squirrels Tuesday, January 29—Leave it to Beaver!
