Un moment de silence
Premier ministre Manuel Valls s’inquiète que les Français sont de plus en plus divisés. Il a dit que ce fossé
pourrait être considéré plus évident dans les «banlieues». Beaucoup de ceux en dehors de Paris habitent
dans le logement affreux. Certaines des personnes les plus pauvres de la France y vivent. Ils ou leurs
familles peuvent provenir de pays étrangers. Beaucoup sont musulmans. Les hommes armés sont venus
de ces quartiers. Certaines personnes dans les banlieues peuvent ne pas se sentir comme ils sont français.
Certains enfants ne voulaient pas participer à un moment de silence pour ceux qui sont morts. Cela ne
signifiait pas qu'ils étaient pour les attaques. Beaucoup de personnes vivant en dehors de Paris ont déclaré
comprendre comment ils se sentaient.
«Les gens ont été tués dans les HLMs par la police, et il n'y avait pas de minute de silence pour eux», a
déclaré Aly Sacko. Il est un musulman. Sa famille est originaire d'Afrique mais il est né en France. Il vit dans
une banlieue où deux adolescents ont été tués en 2005. Ils couraient de la police dans les HLMs et ont été
électrocutés dans la gare. Leurs décès a déclenché des protestations dans tout le pays.
Enseigner à propos de liberté et des valeurs
Le nouveau plan du gouvernement est de travailler avec les écoles. Premier ministre Valls pense qu'ils sont
des lieux importants pour diffuser les idées françaises comme la liberté et de traiter chacun de la même.
Les enseignants vont enseigner aux élèves à être de meilleurs citoyens et à propos de ce que signifie être

Le Parkour
RALEIGH, Caroline du Nord - Un jeune homme s'exécute à pleine vitesse sur le trottoir. Il saute sur un banc
et continue à courir en avant. Il vient à un mur. Il saute par-dessus et continue. Ce jeune homme n'est pas
poursuivi par la police. Il fait du parkour, un sport qui est de plus en plus populaire dans le monde. Les gens
qui font parkour sont appelés «traceurs». Traceurs adorent courir et sauter à travers la ville. Ils
rebondissent sur les murs, sautent par-dessus les clôtures, descendent des toits. Leur but est d'aller du
point A au point B le plus rapidement possible.

Nick Faircloth a 23 ans. Il a découvert la première parkour quand il avait 16 ans. À l'époque, il n'était pas
