Do you have a small space in your home and a bit of time to spare? Can you help us to help more Bullies in need of Rescue? Sadly, there are always dogs out there in horrible situations, crying out for our help – but we need foster homes to be able to help them! TGCBT Rescue always needs foster homes for dogs who need a place to recover from spay/neuter surgery and rest up for a week or two until they get back on their feet and we can find their ideal home. Our foster homes are supported by friendly volunteers whenever needed – and appreciated by very grateful dogs! Vet care and medication is provided by us, as is the dog’s transport, food and other supplies, including crate, blankets & toys. All you need to offer is a safe room for the dog to rest in, some regular exercise and plenty of TLC. Fostering is a hugely rewarding experience and it could be a way of finding the Bullie of your dreams… If you are interested in adoption, fosters get first dibs on adoption! If you want to talk more about becoming one of our wonderful Foster families, please contact us at: [email protected] This image cannot currently be display ed. Once he calms down, he loves to army crawl on his belly and looks at you to make sure you're watching! He's an entertaining goof ball and will find many ways to make you laugh. House trained ! Leash trained Jesse is coming back to us after his adoptive family's first dog sent him to the emergency vet and they can no longer be together. They had lived together peacefully for 2 years and it is undecided what sparked their recent disagreements. This is very difficult & upsetting for his family, and especially their youngest daughter as he was her special buddy. He is a very sweet natured boy and quite sensitive to his owner's emotions. Please consider donating to support our efforts to help bullies in need. A tax donation receipt will be sent in response to all gifts if requested. A donation can be made via the PayPal button on our website – www.texasbullterrier.org – click on the “Rescue” tab. We typically take in, rehabilitate and re-home over 50 bull terriers every year. Our efforts are conducted entirely by volunteers and we depend on public support in order to continue our day to day operations. Every penny of donated funds goes towards veterinary needs and daily care of the bullies in our program. Adoption fees only cover a portion of our expenses. Many of the dogs we take in are malnourished, sick, injured or have been abused, so you can imagine that our expenses are high - but we believe that if an animal has the courage to survive the abuse it has been dealt, it deserves medical treatment and a loving home for its remaining years.
