We have limited resources and a
severe shortage of foster homes.
Do you have a small space in your
home and a bit of time to spare?
Can you help us to help more
Bullies in need of Rescue?
Sadly, there are always dogs out
there in horrible situations, crying
out for our help – but we need
foster homes to be able to help
them!
TGCBT Rescue always needs foster
homes for dogs who need a place
to recover from spay/neuter
surgery and rest up for a week or
two until they get back on their
feet and we can find their ideal home. Our foster homes are supported by friendly
volunteers whenever needed – and appreciated by very grateful dogs! Vet care and
medication is provided by us, as is the dog’s transport, food and other supplies, including
crate, blankets & toys.
All you need to offer is a safe room for the dog to rest in, some regular exercise and plenty
of TLC. Fostering is a hugely rewarding experience and it could be a way of finding the Bullie
of your dreams…
If you are interested in adoption, fosters get first dibs on adoption!

WINK / MALE / 3 YEARS / 55 LBS
! Heartworm POSITIVE*
*Rescue to treat at no cost to adopter
! Crate trained
! Leash trained
! House trained
Wink is a fun loving dog with a sweet and boyish
temperament. He adores people and loves running
around with another K9 buddy. He's stout and
strong and will play rough if you want to. He'd be
great in a household with teenagers and energetic
adults but might be a little heavy headed for a small
child. Like many Bullies, this big boy wants to be a
15 pound lap dog. When he first sees you after a
long day away from home, he his bursting with joy
and will spin like a top for about 5 minutes. Once he
calms down, he loves to army crawl on his belly and
looks at you to make sure you're watching! He's an
entertaining goof ball and will find many ways to
make you laugh.

SPARTACUS / MALE / 3 YEARS
! Heartworm POSITIVE*
*Rescue to treat at no cost to adopter
! Crate trained
! House trained
Sparky has started hucklebutting! He is a sweet boy
who can be easily ramped up, but is also content to
cuddle with a more laidback caretaker. He loves to
play fetch in the yard. He can sit on command, is
good on leash and doesn’t jump up…but he is a
barker! He has had polite on-leash greetings with
other dogs.
Sparky has begun treatment for heartworms and is
ready to try out a new home!
MICK / MALE / 2-3 YEARS
! Heartworm POSITIVE*
*Rescue to treat at no cost to adopter
! Leash trained
Mick was rescued from the streets by a Good
Samaritan, who went above & beyond in caring for
him. He has a soft mouth, loves people and loves his
walks! He wants to chase squirrels, birds, etc. and is
excited about other dogs.

JOKER / MALE / 1 YEAR
! Heartworm Negative
! Crate trained
! Leash trained
! House trained
Joker is a happy, dog social guy and knows basic
obedience (sit, down, come, place, and how to
walk on leash). He has spent time in training and
did fabulous with a number of other dogs. He
showed himself to be a quick learner and, with the
right family who is willing to spend time with him,
he could be the dog of a lifetime.
ELTON / MALE / 5 YEARS
! Heartworm Test Pending
! Crate trained
! Leash trained
! House trained
Elton is a loving, cuddly boy who found his way to
rescue through no fault of his own. He is a very
sweet boy, but a little too interested in cats! He is
on the smaller side, maybe about 40lbs.

SHORTY / FEMALE / 2 YEARS
! Heartworm Test Pending
! Crate trained
! House trained
This tiny little girl may be the smallest mini we
have ever seen! She was found stray, however no
owner ever came forward to claim. Her finder had
her vetted and spayed. She gets along with all
other animals and will be ready to move to a new
home very soon.
KATIE / FEMALE / 4 YEARS / 40LBS
! Heartworm Test Pending
Katie came to rescue as an owner surrender –
she was stolen for 5 months and when her
owner finally recovered her, they were no
longer in a position to keep her.
More info to come on newest intake Katie as
she is properly vetted and evaluated.

JESSE / MALE / 4 YEARS
! Heartworm Negative
! Crate trained
! House trained
! Leash trained
Jesse is coming back to us after his adoptive
family's first dog sent him to the emergency
vet and they can no longer be together. They
had lived together peacefully for 2 years and it
is undecided what sparked their recent
disagreements.
This is very difficult & upsetting for his family,
and especially their youngest daughter as he
was her special buddy. He is a very sweet
natured boy and quite sensitive to his owner's
emotions.

We typically take in, rehabilitate and re-home over 50 bull
terriers every year. Our efforts are conducted entirely by
volunteers and we depend on public support in order to
continue our day to day operations. Every penny of donated
funds goes towards veterinary needs and daily care of the
bullies in our program. Adoption fees only cover a portion of
our expenses. Many of the dogs we take in are malnourished,
sick, injured or have been abused, so you can imagine that our
expenses are high - but we believe that if an animal has the
courage to survive the abuse it has been dealt, it deserves
medical treatment and a loving home for its remaining years.
