(REDCap) and building a clinical integrated data repository (i2b2)

Regulatory issues surrounding protected health information and the role of deidentification methods in clinical research

How the federal government’s Electronic Health Record Meaningful Use data
standards may provide the basis for data interoperability to support research
•
Exposure to clinical trial workflows for the ADAPTABLE aspirin study and how
informatics capabilities may enhance recruitment at reduced cost
•
Streamlining regulatory processes for contracting, data sharing, and human
subjects protection (institutional review boards)
