Ralph Laucella is a Founding Partner/Executive Producer of O Positive, an internationally acclaimed commercial production company. With over two decades of experience in production, he has cultivated a reputation as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable and effective producers, and top purveyors of directorial talent. Ralph has been instrumental in the success of O Positive, included since its 2007 inception among the Top 10 company rankings for the prestigious Cannes Palme d’Or. O Positive also enjoys a consistently high profile in media tastemakers, both for the creative caliber of its work and expertise of its execs. Ralph is a native New Yorker, well versed in the intricacies of production such as labor and labor relations. He has a personal commitment to maintain and foster positive relationships on the East Coast. On a national scale, Ralph’s focus is managing the negative impact from the ever-­‐growing cost consultant demands and global client procurement issues that are posed within the industry. He is also a key player behind the push to modernize and unify the process of commercial budgeting and etiquette. Adding to his production acumen, Ralph has filmed extensively across the U.S. and abroad, everywhere from Cape Town to Prague, Rio de Janeiro and Shanghai. And he has worked closely with many award-­‐winning directors—Jim Jenkins, David Shane, Bryan Buckley, Bennett Miller—top multinational brands and ad agencies. Ralph is an active member of his community, and serves on the Citizens’ Finance/Budget Advisory committee. He would consider it an honor to serve again as a re-­‐elect member of AICP East and to run for the National Board of Directors.
