INTERNATIONALIZATION
Atılım University promotes internationalization both in education and in campus life with a multinational
environment and participative approach. It offers exchange, internship and international mobility programs in
EU countries and other parts of the world. International students are from over 50 different countries all over
the world including Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Balkans, the Gulf Region and the
Caucasus. The University employs internationally experienced and renowned staff. In most of the academic
programs, the medium of instruction is English.

RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY
Atılım University is a prominent and leading research university with more than 140 state of the art
laboratories and a unique Metal Forming Center of Excellence (MFCE) which is one of the 5 comparable centers
all over the world. The University promotes student-centered approach and hands on training in education and
research. The Technology Development Center (TEKMER), the Aerodrome Project in Esenboğa International
Airport in cooperation with the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) as the
research support program offering funds for scholars, the Research Laboratory Projects (ALP) as the program
offering funds to establish new laboratories and to turn them into prospective research and the Undergraduate
Research Project (LAP) as the research support program offering funds for undergraduate students are among
the research and technology opportunities offered at Atılım University.
Atılım University has the 4th largest library in Ankara. Our library aims to create team spirit, service and perfection
within itself, enable the library Users to produce-keep-transfer the information and to create a learning society.

ARGEDA-TTO
The main goal of ARGEDA-TTO is to ensure that the experience and
knowledge gained through various studies are used in the most efficient
way and technologies emerged as a result of the a wide range of studies
conducted within the University gain commercial value and are used by
institutions and organizations which need such technologies.
The goals of ARGEDA-TTO:
• To inform the academic staff, institutions and organizations about the
existing and new national and international support programmes by
organizing seminars and conferences.
• To ensure that the academic staff carry out their studies without
losing time by guiding them in the application process of the support
programmes
• To ensure that the experience and knowledge gained through various
academic studies are not limited to scientific publications and gain
commercial value by being used in industry sector and are transformed
into product by directing these studies in accordance with the needs of
the sector
• To ensure the union of forces and increase in the productivity
by establishing communication between people, institutions and
organizations from various disciplines
• To minimize the dependence on foreign sources by ensuring that the
technologies and products needed by our industry are produced in our
country

Authorized by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering
Education (ENAEE), for awarding the European Accreditation of
Engineering Programs (EUR-ACE) certificate, MUDEK (Association for
Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs) has accredited
6 departments at the Faculty of Engineering:
