Representatives from business, industry, and other organization attend the Job Fair and provide career information for all students. All students are invited to the Job Fair. Prospective graduates can make personal contacts with employers, obtain application forms, distribute their resumes, and schedule appointments for interviews. Some employers schedule interview appointments prior to the Job Fair, and conduct interviews during or after Job Fair. To prepare for the Job Fair: Secure a copy of the LSUA Placement Manual and use the information provided. Prepare a personal resume using the LSUA Resume Tutorial & Builder. Compose application letters. Learn how to interview. Purchase appropriate interview attire to wear to Job Fair and interviews. Make an appointment with a career counselor to be sure you are prepared.
