The LSUA Job Fair is held each March in the Brumfield Caffey Annex. Representatives from business,
industry, and other organization attend the Job Fair and provide career information for all students. All
students are invited to the Job Fair. Prospective graduates can make personal contacts with employers,
obtain application forms, distribute their resumes, and schedule appointments for interviews. Some
employers schedule interview appointments prior to the Job Fair, and conduct interviews during or after
Job Fair. To prepare for the Job Fair:
 Secure a copy of the LSUA Placement Manual and use the information provided.
 Prepare a personal resume using the LSUA Resume Tutorial & Builder.
 Compose application letters.
 Learn how to interview.
 Purchase appropriate interview attire to wear to Job Fair and interviews.
 Make an appointment with a career counselor to be sure you are prepared.
 Attend Job Fair, consult with employers, and provide copies of your resume.

The LSUA Placement Manual will assist prospective graduates in their job search. Go to LSUA Student
Services, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Room W206 (above the bookstore) for a copy of the LSUA Placement
Manual. Subjects in the manual include: marketing your college degree, how to apply for a job, resume
writing skills, job search correspondence, interview skills, and dining out etiquette.
