What is the Community Flyer?
We are a pre-booked door to door shared transport
service for the transport disadvantaged, frail aged,
younger disabled people and their carers who live in
the Logan and Brisbane South areas.

Shop Assist
Shop Assist is a supported shopping service provided
with the assistance of staff and volunteers. This is
designed for people who require someone to go
shopping with them for assistance with pushing the
trolley, reading labels or reaching items on shelves.

What days and times?
Transport is available between 7am and 4.30pm,
Monday to Friday. Medical transport is given priority
between 7am and 9.30am. Transport for any other
activity can be booked after that time.

Where do we pick you up from?
We offer a door to door service that picks you up from
your home and takes you to your appointment, within
20kms of your suburb and within our operating region
of Logan and Brisbane South.
Social Support
Our Social Support outings go to a variety of
destinations. Trips include entertainment and lunch at
a club, a drive in the country, a visit to the seaside for
fish and chips or a mystery trip.

Where do we go?
We can transport you anywhere within 20 kms of your
home within Logan and Brisbane South. You can book
us for:
• Hospital and medical appointments
• Shopping/banking
• Social outings
• Visiting friends and relatives
How to make a booking?
Bookings can be made between 7.30am and 5pm,
Monday to Friday. Please try to book your transport two
working days prior but you can book up to 10am the
day before you need to travel. For example if you wish
to travel on Monday you must book before 10am on the
previous Friday.
If you have a regular appointment , that occurs at the
same time on the same day every week you can make a
permanent booking. This means you do not have to call
us every week.

Accessing our Services
You can register for the Community Flyer by calling
1300 463 593.
We will not exclude anyone from accessing the service
on the grounds of gender, age, marital status, religious
or cultural beliefs, political affiliation, particular disability,
ethnic background, sexual preference, financial
circumstances or the circumstances of their carer.
Centre Based Day Care
This service allows people the opportunity to come
together to learn and interact in a variety of activities
such as craft, quizzes and board games, guest speakers,
Tai Chi and many more. The programme offers support
to build and maintain skills to assist people with a
disability to live in the community.
Social activities operate Monday to Thursday from
9.30am to 2.30pm.
Travelling with a carer
Carers can be picked up from the same address as
the travelling client. Each client is allowed one carer
per trip.
