Class Descriptions

Weeks 1 and 2
1. Water Games (Bathing suit required) Ages 5-11 years
Organized fun with water. This is a class with lots of splish and splash. Relays, water
balloons, sprinklers games and more.
2. Art From Under The Sea Ages 5-8 years
Explore creatures from the deep blue sea while honing your artistic skills, building your
creativity and imagination at the same time you are learning about the fantastic
creature from the deep.
3. T-Ball Grade Ages 5-8 years
Beginner skills and game knowledge of Americas #1 pass time.
4. Songs & American Folk Lore Ages 5-8 years
Fun musical class learning about American folk hero’s.
5. Musical Parachute Ages 5-8 years
Get a great work out while playing fun games to your favorite tunes.
6. Shadow Art Ages 5-11 years
Learn about light, positive and negative space, symmetry, silhouettes, and shadow
puppets in this fun art and science class.
7. Tiny Eco-Systems / Terrariums Ages 7-11 years
Examine nature and things that exist in small places like under rocks, in ponds, or under
a dead tree trunk.
8. Tiny Eco-Systems / Horton Hears A Who Ages 5-7 years
A scaled down version of class #7 adapted for younger children. Examine nature and
things that exist in small places in this class designed to spark the imagination.
9. Whiffle Ball Ages 7-11 years
Fast paced baseball type fun to sharpen your coordination and reflexes. This is a great
game for all skill levels.
10. Ancient Egypt Ages 9,10,11 years
Learn about the land of the Pharos, the mystery of the pyramids and the historical
pyramid text carved on the tombs and sarcophagi. What is a Sphinx, how many
pyramids were built?, how were they built? These questions and more will be explored.
Look at life along the Nile and learn why life thrived in this region of the world.
Cleopatra, The Giza King, Tutankhamun and the mysteries that surrounded those who
excavated the tomb. WOW-- prepare to be amazed.
11.Tell Me A Tale - Weave Me A Yarn Ages 9,10,11 years
Listen, learn, and practice the art of creating your own tall tales. Create a bag of story
stones. Learn the basic elements to making up a good story and how to express yourself
while telling a tale. All this and more make up this class for the aspiring creative writer.
12. Disc Golf Ages 9,10,11 years
Learn the basic skills of tossing and throwing a Frisbee, Play Can Jam and learn how to
set up a back yard disc golf game. Fun for everyone.
Week 3
1. Crazy Art Ages 5-11 years
Paint with your feet, spread color by blowing through a straw, create wild designs, all
while think out of the box. Content appropriately adapted for each age group.
2. Life Size Games Ages 5-8 years
Giant connect 4, Checkers on the lawn, a giant game of Trouble, are just a few of the
possible options you will experience in this class. Learn the materials you need to make
your own Life Size games to enjoy with your family and friends at home.
3. Animal Art Ages 5-8 years
Come make foil fish, panda mask, pasta hedgehog, and a tern that really flies, in this fun
class for the animal lover and junior artist.
4. Wood Burning 101 Ages 9,10,11 years
Learn the basic skills of wood burning, practice your skills on wood slices and make
pendants and coasters you can wear and use. Be aware safety first in this class, good
listening skills are a must.

5. Jurassic Journey Ages 5-8 years
Fossil Rocks, cave paintings, awesome dinosaurs and their modern day cousins. Join the
fun and become a junior paleontologist when you join us on this journey back in time.
6. Outer Space Ages 5-11 years
Science and Art will collide with Andromeda, dwarf planets, and the celestial dome.
Possibilities of life on other planets beyond our solar system. Explore, Imagine, discover
in a fun class for those interested in outer space. Content appropriately adapted for
each age group.
7. S.T.E.M. Ages 9-11 years
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math all rolled in to one hands on class.
8. Go Noodle & Wacky Dances Ages 5-8 years
This class is all about movement. Shake out your wiggles, burn up extra energy and build
on your fitness, but most of all laugh and have fun
9. Tarp Hockey (Bathing suit required) Ages 5-11
Summer fun is right here. Similar to life size air hockey combined with slip and slid
action. The hockey rink is constructed out of a large plastic tarp with pool noodle goals
at each end. Add water and two teams of campers on their knees and you have a wacky,
wet fun filled game to beat the heat on a hot summer day. Appropriately adapted for
each age group.
10.Outdoor Games Ages 9-11 years
Fun in the sun is what this class is about. Games of tag, relays, minute to win-it
challenges, and many others.
Week 4
1. Games With Dice Ages 5-8 years
Wow--- this class has it all, practice your skills playing games similar to Yahtzee and
Boggle, have fun with your camp friends, be goofy, play outside on the lawn, add and
subtract the possibilities.
2. Garden Art Ages 5-8 years
Wind chimes, light catchers, fairy houses, painted rocks and more. Make decorations for
your Mom’s garden to dress up the back yard.
3. The Art Of Drumming Ages 5-11 years
Rhythm is everywhere, join the fun, make a drum, rhythm sticks, and shakers, then play
them in a group drumming circle. If you like to make noise this class is for you.
4. Boondoggle & Para cord Ages 9-11 years
Camp and boondoggle go hand and hand, learn the knots you need to know to weave
and tie your own, keychains, bracelet and more.

5. Bigfoot, Bizarre Tales & Urban Legends Ages 9-11 years
If you are interested in cryptozoology, myths and legends this class might spark your
imagination. Look at the facts, explore the evidence and draw your own conclusions.
Content appropriately adapted for each age group.
6. Kitchen Chemistry Ages 5-6 years
Use house hold kitchen products and turn them in to science projects that bubble,
change color and erupt before your eyes. All ingredients used are kid friendly.
7. Lawn Games Ages 5-11 years
Giant checkers, twister, ring toss, can jam and more summer fun, all outside in the yard.
8. Geometric Designs Ages 5-6 years
If you like to create art from shapes and designs you will love this class. Geometry is
everywhere in nature. Come explore the wonder of Geometrical shapes and designs
while practice your coloring skills, matching and shading.
9. Make Your Own Kind Of Music Ages 7-11 years
This fun class will let you experiment with recycled materials to create unique sounds
and rhythms. Digeridoo, kazoo, and more in this class designed to tickle your musical
imagination.
10. Spiral Art Ages 7-11 years
Children for decades have enjoyed using spiral graph art supplies. Be creative as we
work together to make different designs and brightly colored patterns. Use a pendulum
to painting, have fun with giant spiral wheels and let your imagination run wild.
Week 5
1. 4 Square And More Ages 5-11 years
Not just your average 4 square game. Learn wacky ways to improvise and expand this
old favorite driveway game. Content appropriately adapted for each age group.
2. Around The World In 80 Days Ages 5-11 years
Learn about 10-20 different countries around the world as we explore the different
ways of life, means of transportation used, climate, cultures and cuisines. Countries will
include the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Egypt, India, China, and more. Content
appropriately adapted for each age group.
3. Things That Creep & Crawl Ages 5-11 years
If you love bugs, worms, spiders and snakes, then you will have a great time in this class
exploring all your favorite creepy crawly things. Learn about their function in the
environment and how important they are to earth. Content appropriately adapted for
each age group.

4. All About The Earth Ages 5-8 years
Learn about our weather, climate change, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes and what
makes our world turn.
5. Whirly Gigs & Wind Chimes Ages 5-8 years
Fun to watch and pretty to hear, but did you know they have had an important function
to farmers and scientist? This class combines science and art. Learn, create, discover.
6. Wii Fun / Computers Ages 5-8 years
Virtual bowling, skiing, tennis, baseball, skateboarding and more are all part of this fun
class.
7. Weather Science Ages 9-11 years
Learn about the elements of our earth that drastically affects all life! Explore the water
cycle, solar energy and the power of the wind and more.
8. Earth Science Ages 9-11 years
Learn about the planet we live on including what our world is made from, basic rocks,
how the moon affects the tides, gravity, natural disasters and more.
Week 6
1. Badminton Ages 5-11 years
Learn the basics of this fun back yard game. Easy to learn, sharpens hand eye
coordination and builds confidence while having a great time with your classmates.
2. Super Hero’s Ages 5-8 years
This class is an old favorite. Look at and discuss Captain America, Batman, Superman,
Ironman, all your favorite hero’s in comic books, on TV and in the movies. What kind of
super hero would you be? Discover your super power, design your ultimate superhero
costume, and just have fun.
3. Dr. Seuss Week Ages 5-11 years
Every day we will explore a different book written by Dr. Seuss and create a project from
the story. By the end of the week we will also write our own book in true Dr. Seuss style.
Come join the fun.
4. Folk Art Ages 9-11 years
Learn about the art of indigenous culture. With no rules of proportion or perspective
folk art forms color our world, decorating cave walls and cabin floors, reflecting culture,
history, and ethnic back grounds. Come explore this art form while developing unique
and diverse techniques on cloth, wood, paper, clay and more. Learn, create, discover.

5. Wondrous Word Wizardry Ages 9-11 years
Play some word games and find your inner writer. Create poems and stories with your
own characters. Creativity is encouraged as we have fun with words!
6. Oceanic Adventures Ages 5-8 years
In the depths of the ocean live fantastic creatures rarely seen by the human eye. Giant
squid 40 feet long, fish that glow in the dark and frilled sharks, from colossal creatures
to minuscule organisms uniquely adapted to withstand the cold, dark and high pressure
of their environment. Join us as we learn all about the world below the surface of the
ocean.
7. Reuse / Invent / Create Ages 5-11 years
Learn how to turn every day trash into unique works of art or functional repurposed
treasures. Look at objects that we normally throw away in a whole new light. Content
appropriately adapted for each age group.
