Read all of these instructionsFIRST!!!!!!!!
In the computer lab, set up a folder called “español 2” in your H drive.
In the “español 2” folder, set up a folder called “Photostory”.
Save your Word Doc with the photos in the “Photostory” folder.
Type a new script with my corrections. Open a Word doc. Immediately, before typing,
click on the review tab. Then click “Language.” Set proofing language to Spanish (any
of the many Spanish options.) Then change the spacing to triple spaced. Type a
corrected script. If you need info about how to type accents, see the bottom of this
page. Save this doc in your “Photostory” folder in you español 2 folder in your H drive
and ion your flashdrive.
6. The new script needs to be stapled to the top of the old script and turned in as soon as
you have finished typing.
7. Then open your Word Doc. Right click on each photo and “Save as” into the
“Photostory” folder. I suggest that you rename each photo easy to remember.
8. Open Photo Story. If you are unsure how to use Photo Story, open the Library’s page
on the CRN website. Click under Staff Resources. Select Photo Story to the left. There
are directions how to use Photo Story under “Photo Story Basics.”
9. Insert all your photos.
10. Save ALL your work. I suggest that you save a copy in your H drive and email copies to
yourself/save to a flashdrive.

2. If you would like to add more sentences to your script, you may. You may
NOT use the computer. If you are adding sentences for further credit, you
will need to flip your keyboard over. Write on your typed script. Use only
NEW verbs. Use your notes. Remember there are different endings for ar
verbs! Turn these scripts in as soon as possible.

the back of the rubric) you would like to add to your presentation.
4. Open Photo Story. If you are unsure how to use Photo Story, open the

What needs to happen hoy in the biblioteca?

2. Open your Photo Story. If you are unsure how to use Photo Story, open the Library’s page on the CRN
website.
Click on Multimedia help.
3. If you haven’t already, insert all your photos. Create a Jpeg by for an intro screen and for your
Photostory. The easiest way to do this is use PowerPoint. Export & change file type. Place these
jpegs into your project. There will be no narration for them.
4. After all of your photos have been inserted, add text to each photos. Do not type more than 3 words
per photo. You could add the year, or the holiday, or the like.
5. After practicing your script, get a headset from the checkout counter. Be polite to Ms. Little.
6. Add music.
7. Adjust the sound of the music and voices so it can be heard easily.

8. Save project before building. Name it “Photo Story 2.1.” It will look like this. Notice it has a wp3
extension.
9. Build and save it in your PhotoStory folder in your español 2 folder in your H drive!!!! It may default to
a different drive. Make sure you browse to find your H drive. Unsure how to build it???? Check out
the instructions in #3.
It should appear as either a film strip icon or a safety cone icon. It must have a .wmv extension.

10. Change the same of the wmv file to your last name.
11. Place your wmv file in the class’ folder in Student Swap. (Shared drive, Student Swap, Sherman pd 3
or Sherman pd 4)
