Master of Science in Aerospace Mechanics and Avionics
Airbus, a global aircraft manufacturer and market leader, wants to motivate engineering students in the
international orientation of their studies and therefore awards a limited number of international scholarships. These
include not only the tuition fees and a monthly living allowance, but also mentoring and regular reviews with the
Airbus mentor, as well as the Final Thesis within an Airbus site. Specifically oriented towards the needs of the Airbus
offshore engineering centres in the US, China and Russia, ISAE and Airbus have identified the “Airbus Path” within
the MSc AMA.
1 Approved Airbus Path of the MSc in Aerospace Mechanics and Avionics
Airbus graduate scholarships are awarded to students applying to the 4-semester Master of Science in Aerospace
Mechanics and Avionics with the study package, hereunder described. Awarded students by Airbus take on a
commitment to follow the study program approved by Airbus in return for the 24-month scholarships.

2 Airbus Graduate Scholarships
Airbus Financial Aid amount
The Airbus graduate scholarships intends to fund:
MSc AMA tuition fees: 13 000 euros
Monthly living allowances: up to 450 euros during the 4-semester
Tenure
The duration of the Airbus graduate scholarships is 24 months, with the condition that the study period between the
starting date and the graduation not exceed 24 months. The Airbus graduate scholarships are contingent upon
maintenance of satisfactory academic progress, periodically assessed during end-of-semester study review.
3 Application criteria

Applications for the Airbus Graduate Scholarship must be sent to ISAE before 25 April 2008. Airbus will accept
applications from students who
have successfully completed a degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering outside of Europe
(bachelor/masters)
have proven excellent performance
have proven their outstanding motivation in extra-curricular activities, and a consistent motivation for aviation
have excellent communication and team working skills
are motivated to work in one of the Airbus design offices after graduation
are admitted in the MSc AMA
will study according to the identified “Airbus Path”
The decision for the Airbus Graduate Scholarship will be based on the following elements
Academic track record and recommendation by ISAE
Recommendation by 2 of your professors
Your motivation letter for Airbus
Meeting with an Airbus representative in your country, as far as possible
Airbus gives priority to applicants from our Chinese partner universities.

Notification of awards

7 Commitment
In case I am awarded with the Airbus Graduate Scholarship, I will study according to the Airbus Path. I will attend
and contribute to regular study reviews with Airbus and ISAE.
I am aware that the Airbus Graduate Scholarship is linked to a successful completion of each term. It will not be
possible to repeat a class.
