Section 1. The harbor lines in the Acushnet river and
Fairhaven and New Bedford harbors are hereby changed
and established as follows: The location of each angle in
the lines hereinafter described is fixed by a distance hereinafter called longitude in feet, from a meridian passing
through a point called "Mark 1" located by the United
States Coast and Geodetic Survey and known as "New
Bedford Fort" north latitude forty-one degrees, thirty-seven
minutes, twenty-seven and sixty-six thousandths seconds,
and west longitude seventy degrees, fifty-four minutes, ten
and four hundred nine thousandths seconds, and by a distance hereinafter called latitude, in feet, from a line at right
angles to said meridian and passing through said point and
the bearings refer to the true meridian passing through
said point.
Beginning at point A in latitude six hundred fifty-one
and seventy-one one hundredths feet north and longitude
eight hundred sixty and thirty-seven one hundredths feet
west, said point A being north fifty-two degrees, fifty-one
minutes, twenty-five seconds west, true bearing, one thousand seventy-nine and thirty-three one hundredths feet
