Add to starter swine feeds at the rate of 2.2‐8.8 pounds/ton (1‐4 kg./metric ton) of the complete ration. Protimax may be fed from day 1 of age to 28 days post‐weaning. The final supplemental amount and the length of recommended feeding time will depend on the piglet’s challenge(s), the specific Protimax product used and the producer’s experience. Protein quality of Protimax is best maintained when pelleting temperatures do not exceed 160° F.
