They can be adapted to Lesson plan 1 Subject area: design and technology - bread Activity 1 1. Learning objective: Can pupils analyse a variety of bread products? 2 Use a star * to evaluate the different bread products for, example: *= dislike a lot **= dislike ***= ok **** like ***** like a lot Product Smell Appearance Texture Flavour Preferred choice Granary sliced loaf ** ** **** * 2.25 White sliced bread Wholemeal Roll Soda bread Pitta bread Fruit loaf Preferred choice column. You may like to find out the average of each bread product by adding the number of stars in each of the four columns (smell, appearance, texture, flavour) related to one bread product and dividing it by four to find out your favourite product. For example: Granary sliced loaf : 2(smell)+ 2(appearance)+ 4(texture)+ 1(Flavour)= 9 3+2+3+1= 9 9÷4= 2.25 www.mariecurie.org.uk/teaparty Charity reg no. 207994 (England and Wales), SC038731 (Scotland) N14 pdf ©2010 Bread (5b) Analysis: Lesson plan 1 Subject area: design and technology - bread Self assessment Self assessment: I can make and design my own bread product for the Blooming Great Tea Party?
