• The monitoring of KKL’s radiation waste container handling needed updating/improvement
• Only the filling operation was surveilled by 2 cameras (which were out of order)
• International and national regulations now dictate better control over waste handling operations

The ISEC solution
• ISEC responded to KKL’s needs and developed an NMS solution to fullfill this – the NMS/RWC
• 7 ISEC Radcam cameras were installed throughout the waste handling facility
• 3 ISEC MCP clients with control panel and joy-stick (Filling room, filling control room and crane control room)
• 3 monitors for live view monitoring
• Full ISEC system and server for monitoring, camera control and recording system were installed
• The NMS/RWC provides
- Full video monitoring from filling to storage of all radiation waste containers (drums/barrels)
- Excellent monitoring/recording video quality due to Radcam’s high-resolution color camera
- Full pan/tilt, zoom and manual focus/iris control for each camera
- Unimpaired monitoring in the typically dark environments due to Radcam on-board lights
- Easy recording of container inspection images, 360° and top to bottom views of each container
- Container inspection further simplified and secured by ”click and record” functionality
- Easy documentation/archiving of container inspection images via USB
- Easy image comparing function for identifying container degradation/developments
