Summer heat can increase tire pressure. Use a tirepressure gauge and check each of your tires to
ensure they are inflated to the level recommended
in your owner’s manual. Or bring your car in to
Burien Japanese Auto and let your technician
check them for you. Also, be sure to check your
spare as well!
This is an important tip because underinflated tires
run the risk of a blowout and overinflated tires can
cause hydroplaning on wet roads. Even better, you
can increase your vehicles fuel efficiency by up to
3% if your tires are properly inflated!
Another hint when checking your tires is to check
for proper tread depth. A quick and simple way
to do this is to put a penny in the tread gap with
Lincoln’s head facing down -- if the head is fully
visible, you probably need new tires.

When checking your oil level, be sure to check the
oil after running your vehicle for a few minutes.
