Perimeter is the distance around a figure. You can find
the perimeter of rectangles constructed on dot paper by
counting the number of units on each side.
Find the perimeter of the rectangle:
The rectangle is 4 units long and
3 units wide.
To find the perimeter, add the
length of each side:
4 3 4 3 14 units
The perimeter of the rectangle is
14 units.
