Fall 2015 - October, November, & December
Fall Into A Good Book
Greetings,
As we move into the holiday season the library has planned several programs to help the
community. From November 8-14, the library will be offering an Amnesty Week. If you have
overdue fines this is your chance to eliminate your fines and help your community. Bring in
canned or boxed food items in exchange for your Rose Memorial Library overdue fines. All
food items must be unopened and unexpired. We will also be holding a donation drive for HiTor Animal Care Center on December 15.
The library welcomes two new employees. Charles DeYoe is the new Adult Services Librarian.
Charles comes to us from Thrall Public Library District of Middletown and Wallkill where he
served as a reference librarian and local history librarian. He previously worked at the State
University of New York, University at Buffalo, Charles P. Sears Law Library, Koren A/V Center.
Charles received his Master of Library Science from the State University of New York.
Veronica Coffey is our new Youth Services Librarian. Veronica has previously worked at New
York Public Library, Desmond-Fish Library and Highland Falls Library. Veronica earned her
Master of Library and Information Science from Long Island University.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Brown, MLS, MPA
