The Client is a major manufacturer of
custom automation equipment and robotic
systems based out of North America. They
serve a variety of industries including
Automotive,
Aerospace,
Construction,
Consumer Products, Food Processing,
Furniture, Medical and Pharmaceutical.
The scope of the project involved Design & Development
of Conveyor for transferring of
Engine Pallet in
Automated Assembly Line. Along with this the scope
involved creating library of standard parts, analyzing for
manufacturability
and
standardization,
creating
manufacturing drawings in Inventor, creation of Bill of
Materials and Material Specification as per customer
standard.
The TAAL Tech team at offshore studied the PDF Layout Drawing,
AutoCAD drawing, Design Standards & References. The team generated
multiple ideas with detail due-diligence on all alternatives using Inventor.
The team went through concept design, FEA analysis, detail design,
standard part selection, manufacturing and assembly drawing creation
and BOM creation. There was continuous interaction between the onsite
engineer and offshore support for different variants throughout the design
and development of the Conveyor.
Completely validated mechanical, electrical,
pneumatic and control
Optimization for strength, cycle time, ease of
assembly and Cost of manufacturing
Proven design for Titanium sheet bending with
unique sheet bending technique
