It was suggested that the page be attached to their scorebooks for reference when lightning was present. Grounds • The Grange will be unavailable round 1 due to wet weather. Round 1 match will be moved to Todkill Park. Irrigation work will occur after the Christmas break but is not expected to have any major impact on the ground. • Wexted will be unavailable until further notice due to the wet weather saturating the outfield and preventing vehicle access onto the ground. An estimated time frame of 2-3 weeks was given. • Trinity No 2 is currently fine despite the amount of rain received. • The Goal Posts at North Park have not been removed. • Area surrounding the pitch at Carr Confoy 1 has been disturbed during the process of removing the winter covering. • The pitch at Carr Confoy 2 requires marking. Preparations have been made to start marking the pitches this week. Miscellaneous • The Goulburn Sporting Hall of Fame is holding it Gala Dinner on the 22nd October, 6pm at the Soldiers Club. With the amount of money and support the Seiffert Oval Pavilion is receiving from Council( it has been estimated as being a $1 million building), it would be wise to return that support for Council functions; so the Association intends to purchase a table (seats 10) at the Dinner. The cost will be $65 per head and the call was put out for assistance in filling the table. It was noted that this will be held on the same weekend as the Burns Cup and as such will eliminate those involved with the Rep team from attending. Second Grade was asked to step up and show its support. • Marty Travers paid the $77 fees owed as part of the folded Gordon Club and is now cleared to play in the GDCA Competition. • Thanks to Platon Antony Autos for their $500 sponsorship of the GDCA Competition for 2016/2017.
