Rustburg and Brookneal Libraries Receive Community Grant Funding for Local
Projects
Rustburg, VA – The Campbell County Public Library Foundation was recently
awarded a Community Grant from Wells Fargo Bank (Rustburg branch) for
improvement projects in the Rustburg and Brookneal libraries. A disbursement of
$1,000 was received by the Foundation on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at their
regular Library Board meeting.
The funds will be applied towards
the installation of a public patio at
the Campbell County Public Library
in Rustburg and towards enhancing
the new early literacy section at
the Patrick Henry Memorial Library
facility. These projects are slated
for completion by the spring of
2014. Each project is being led by
the Friends of the Library in the
respective branches—both of
which are still accepting
contributions to the indicated
project.
