Selecting Courses
Paper submissions with original signatures required!
Once admitted into the program, students will be sent more information
regarding courses that will be offered during their semester abroad. Courses
are set by LCF depending on the term.
Students should expect to earn Liberal Arts or Electives
Students will be required to submit the LIM College Course Proposal Form to
have courses evaluated prior to attending LCF.
Students must register for 2 Modules of 20 UAL/LCF Credits each which equal
12 US credit hours per term.
Semester Dates
Orientation
**Students must meet with their academic advisor to ensure their courses
will fit into their graduation plan.**
Fall: Late September through early December
Spring: Early January through late March
Please note: Terms are only 3 months.
All students are required to attend the LIM College Pre-Departure Orientation.
Date, time, and location will be made available after acceptance into program.
It is compulsory for all students to attend the Induction (Orientation) Day at
LCF. Induction Dates: TBD
Students must arrange their travel so they can attend the orientation.
Housing
Housing on campus is currently not available to exchange students. LCF has a
variety of resources to find reliable off campus housing that will be provided to
LIM College Students upon acceptance into the program or shortly after.
Health Insurance
All students must submit proof to the Study Abroad Office that they are
covered overseas by their current health insurance provider.

Program Costs
(Costs are in British
Pounds)
Students will pay LIM College the regular semester tuition and fees. This does
not cover airfare, housing, books, meals, or personal expenses, such as
shopping.
Additional Costs (all amounts are approximations):
 Food – 130-260 GBP per week.
 Public Transportation – 45-150 GBP per month
 Excursions – At student’s discretion
 Books/supplies – 250 GBP
**Students must book and pay for their own airfare.**
Student Visa
Students will be required to have a Student Visitor Visa to study for the
semester. Students must have a valid passport that expires no sooner than 6
months past the end of the exchange experience to apply for the visa.
Accepted students will be sent a letter of invitation from the London College of
Fashion to present to immigration authorities. Students must apply for their
visas prior to leaving the United States. For further visa information, please see
the UAL-London College of Fashion’s website.
Student visas are normally issued for one month prior to commencement of the
semester and will be valid up to one month after completion of studies.
