WHAT TO DO NOW: You
still have time to prune nonblooming shrubs & trees for
shape & to remove dead or
damaged branches. If you
did not prune early-flowering
trees & shrubs in the fall, you
should wait until blooming is
finished this spring.
PLANTING: Spring
Vegetable plants are arriving
five days a week. Just
remember, not much growth
occurs with tomatoes until
the soil temperature is a
consistent 70 degrees. Basil,
Dill & Cucumbers are
extremely frost sensitive so
be sure to protect them with
Harvest Guard plant cover.
