SAFETY LIGHT CURTAIN deTec4 Prime
Integrated Laser Alignment and Status LEDs
All deTec safety light curtains save significant commissioning time
and costs with their easy-to-use integrated LED indicators and
many diagnostic functions.
As soon as the deTec4 Prime has a sender-receiver connection,
color-coded monitoring and diagnostic LEDs on both sides – red,
yellow, and green—indicate the status of the device and indicate when
maintenance is required. Four blue LEDs on the receiver clearly show
the signal strength for easy alignment.
Flexibility via System Plugs
The four system plugs offer a variety of options, and users can choose
the system plug based on the functionality that is needed. The system
plugs are available:
• With 5-pin or 8-pin connectors
• With or without cascading
• With or without reset, external device monitoring, and diagnostic output
The system plugs offers manual versatility and saves costs by allowing
users to switch from one type of system plug to another without having
to order a new model of safety light curtain.
Standard Plugs Reduce Cabling Costs
No need for expensive proprietary cables! The deTec4 safety light
curtains use only low cost, standard connectors which reduces cabling
costs. Since these connectors are industry standard, the deTec4
eliminates the need to keep an inventory of specialized cabling.
Rugged Housing
The deTec4 Prime also features rigid extruded aluminum housing with
a recessed lens for maximum durability. In addition, IP 65 and IP 67
enclosure ratings ensure reliable performance in harsh environments;
and extended operating temperature make the deTec4 Prime suitable
for hot, cold, or humid applications.
