Pastor’s Letter:
2015 Annual Catholic Appeal – Archdiocese of Seattle
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Hopefully you have had a chance to consider your gift to this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal. I ask that you please
be generous to this effort for two reasons. First, your support of the Church’s ministry throughout western
Washington is critical; to support priests, seminarians, parish outreach and assistance to the poor, to name just a
few of the over sixty ministries supported by the appeal. Second, your support of the appeal means that we receive
a rebate each year to help with our ongoing ministry here at Saint Mark. With your help, that will continue!
Each year, you, the people of Saint Mark are VERY generous and kind in your support of the Annual Catholic
Appeal. This year, I simply ask that you please keep it up as you have in the past. And if you can increase your
gift a little bit this year to keep with all the rising costs that would great too!
Thank you and blessings to you all!
In the peace of Christ,
Fr. David Mulholland

Hope and Healing After Abortion
“If we open the shutters in the morning, the light will pour in. We do
not need to beseech it to pour in. It will pour in if we let it. It is so with
the peace of God. It will rule in our hearts if only we will let it in.”Amy Carmichael, Edges of His Ways

St. Mark Parish School
Annual Fund
Your support of the St. Mark Parish School Annual Fund is a gift
for the future of our children. Your donation goes directly to
support teachers' salaries, student programs, utilities, and athletics; in essence, the daily life of our school. While tuition covers
the majority of the cost of a Catholic education, the Annual
Fund plays a critical role to provide our students with the spiritual, intellectual and moral development they need to be a witness of Christ in the world. If you have not yet made a contribution to the fund you will be receiving a phone call from a member of the School Commission. Our goal is $100,000, and your
support is needed. Thank you for supporting the ministry of
education in our parish.
