Services included in Pool Opening








Removal, cleaning, and folding of pool cover.
Reinstalling of pool and deck equipment – diving board, ladder, handrails, return fittings, skimmer parts etc.
Re-assembly of pumps, filter, heater, chlorinator and plumbing.
Vacuuming pool with our pump to street (except for salt pools in the City of Toronto).
Scrubbing tiles and coping and hosing off deck area surrounding the pool.
ENVIRO spring opening chemical kit charged separately
Testing and balancing of pool water – cleaning and balancing chemicals charged separately.
Pool cover debris will be bagged and taken to curb – biodegradable bags charged separately.

Start up is not included in pool opening prices.


We will return on the 3rd business day after opening to start up your pool system.
Therefore after pool opening it is imperative to fill your pool to the top of the skimmer mouth opening in
order for us to be able to start up your pool at that time.





We will return on the 3rd business day after pool opening to start up your pool system. Please make
sure that your pool is filled up to the top of the skimmer mouth opening in order for us to be able to
start up your pool at this time.
Labour and materials to make minor repairs at this time are extra.
Major repairs will require customer’s approval and may have to be re-scheduled.
Services included in start up:

Prime and start filtration system

Re-check and adjust water balance and charge chlorinator

Prime whirlpool, waterfall and fountain pumps

Start automatic cleaner and set times on timer

Set up Jandy Aqualink, auto filler, solar system controls etc.

Check overall system operation
POOL HEATER SERVICES
Spring Maintenance Program …………………………..……….… $166.00

Cleaning of gas and propane fired heaters - this program is recommended to be done annually to help avoid
heater problems during the season and to prolong the life and efficiency of the heater.
Because of cold weather we may not be able to check your thermostat operation. Please monitor pool water
temperature and heater operation on initial temperature setting.
This program is required to maintain your BETZ CARD GUARANTEE.
This service includes:

Remove and clean burner and pilot assembly

Clean the interior of heater

Reinstall burner assembly and light pilot

Final check of all safety controls

Check operation and test run
WEEKLY SERVICE PROGRAM
Weekly Maintenance Program ……………………….………….. $ 89.00 per visit
Weekly Chemical Program ……………………….………………. $ 55.00 per visit



For separate spas or separate fountains add $10.00.
Required pool chemicals are not included in these prices and must be supplied by Betz Pools.
Our weekly service program is available from April until pool is closed. For June, July, and August we will
perform these services on your regular service day, otherwise we will service the pool once a week.
Please Note: Travel charges will apply for services provided over 100km from Betz office.
